Floyd could have had a DQ loss to Judah?

gatti was looking at the ref because he said stop punching but floyd kept on punching him! the ref would have done something if it was against the rules hahaha except the ref is there to make sure floyd wins. he lets floyd break rules he just said half a second ago. floyd gets preferential treatment.......again.

In light of what happened last night in the Kirkland-Molina fight, do you think Floyd should have been DQ'd for Roger storming the ring and attacking Zab? Molina's cornerman/trainer just briefly stepped inside the ring while the ref was counting and the fight was called a DQ due to it.

Can somebody with good knowledge of the rules break it down? What's the difference between those two fights? Is it to the refs discretion?



edit:ref was Richard Steele, same guy from the Chavez-Taylor 1 fight.

The Difference was Floyd's the star and this was Top rank promoted fight!

While last night was, It was Golden Boy who protects it's fighters all the time! They surely paid their refs & Judges in favor of its fighter!

Floyd pushes Gatti's head down, the ref says stop punching Floyd hits him twice as that happens then backs off.

The ref moves like he is going to get between them but Floyd backed off and the ref didn't get between or do anything.

Then Gatti looks at the ref like wtf, then Floyd dashes in and cracks him with a hook~

Don't look at a ref ever with that wtf look because shit like that will happen defend yourself at all times~

Either way Floyd backed off after the ref said that before dashing back in while Gatti looked at the ref.
