i believe it was morales' "hunger" for tortillas and chorizo that got him into this mess to begin with.

Why not just make the fight at a catchweight higher than 140 in the first place?

Considering how ripped Floyd is and the fact that when he went into camp for Marquez he weighed in his 150 or 160`s.I doubt Floyd could have made 144 for the Marquez fight without it draining him.

Well actually it is both. The extra weight may mean he didn't struggle so much.

I thought danny garcia was the mandatory??

He's won 7 titles in 4 weight classes, of the course the 7th title and 4th weight class was bogus, but he's an ATG. Why not retire once Danny beats him??? He has wins over Zaragoza, Jones, Ramirez, Barrera, Kelley, Espadas Jr, Chi, Ayala, Velardez, Chavez, C. Hernandez, and Pacquiao. He has nothing to prove. I for one thought he should have retired after losing to David Diaz in 2007, but that's just me. I remember Morales saying after he lost to Raheem and than Pacquiao back-to-back that he didn't "have it" anymore.
That is the thing he did win his 4th title when he BEAT david diaz but was not given the decision. It's just his karma, he deserved it even though he won that belt at 135lbs years ago.

He looks like a skinny Morales like always I am not surprised looks ready to go.

              Very true.

Garcia wants the belt and he can make 140.

It does not matter what those two pounds are. The fact is that he signed a contract to fight Garcia at 140, not at 142. Garcia put the work to get to 140, Morales did not. He is cheating Garcia and the public for his poor conditioning.

He would have been hit with a half a million dollars per pound against pacquiao....SMDH, but somehow hes (PACQUIAO) an ATG.....
