Margarito - Cotto II, bad/early stoppage?

o k but how did margo look in the last 3 rounds of the pacquiao fight?besides cotto who has margo stopped after the 9th round?margarito is not a power puncher he is a volume puncher and in the rematch he barely landed punches so how would he have stopped cotto? in the first fight cotto was bleeding from his nose in the 2nd round and a couple rounds later he suffered a cut in his mouth these 2 things make harder to breath and cotto was still able to last up until the 11th round yet in the rematch cotto didnt even seem to have a mark on him till about the 6th round yet you and somethers feel like he would of not been able to survive 3 more rounds even though he was able to go 11 rounds in a fight where he was way more physically damaged

Margarito was in much worse condition in the Pacquaio fight. ****** to compare the two. Tony was actually hurt in that fight unlike this one.

3 rounds is a long time especially fighting the way Miguel was fighting. You cant just write them off especially given the respective styles/attributes of both fighters and the psychological toll.

it was a fair stoppage, it just spoiled the fight
never know what will happen, Tony was busted up but not quitting
and why not let Cotto get the real KO like Max said afterward?

sad thing is the fight atmosphere was great too, fans of both going wild every time one landed good shots. would have been better for cottos fans to leave with a real victory

if margaritos corner wouldn't have made his fighter receive the damage he received from manny in their bought, saving margarito's eye health. then surely the doctor wouldn't have stopped the cotto-margarito fight in the first place.

margarito was loosing that fight with manny, why keep receiving more damage if you're going to loose anyway.

bad decisions in past fights, provide bad performances in future fights... this one was clear as water...

Margo was still fighting. At the point of the stoppage in that previous round Cotto was pushing him back ripping combos. Margo's head started to snap when he got hit good.

I wanted to really see the continuation of the beggining of the end of Margo but it got stopped.

Margo is so dumb that he wouldn't be able to save himself and continue to take punishment

I personally don't believe Cotto would ever give him a rematch, despite it being the tiebreaker.

Anyway, notice how Margarito laughed off all of Cotto's combinations? He wasn't even getting phased by any of those punches.
