The bad thing about that though is. And, I could see Martinez concern. If Top Rank Chavez demand that this fight be here in Texas. Because, if that's the case there won't be any testing at all. Chavez has never been tested in any of his fights in Texas. That's not a good sign.

whoever you think is they is they....Who do you think "they" is?
If I may ask why have you been so reluctant to answer that question? Is it because it would kill whatever point you're trying to make? If not then tell me who "they" is? But, if you don't know I would give a clue it was commission. But, which state commission?
no, idont just answer smartass questions only ask to annoy people....if you dont know look it up....you have google dont you?Comment

I am not trying to single you out. I am trying to figure out what you guys are trying to debate here. You just seemed like the one that knew what they were talking about. To me it sounds like this debate is about nothing. I agree if there wasn't at least a standard test done, then there should have been, but that doesn't mean that he was on anything. By judging by Chavez performance in the Rubio fight, if Chavez was on something, then he was defiantly on the wrong stuff.Comment

They have to be tested per WBC rulesThe bad thing about that though is. And, I could see Martinez concern. If Top Rank Chavez demand that this fight be here in Texas. I doubt Martinez would let it slide like RubioComment

There's so much bluster, rumor, and out right lying in the sport of boxing. Always has been. It's just more transparent and faster now due to the internet.Comment

You can't say he was on the wrong stuff(If he was). Because, 1 we don't know if he was on anything. Since there was NO testing whatsoever at all. And, FWIW that is the standard for Texas. Chavez jr has never been tested in Texas. Where is his next fight? El Paso, Texas. But, back to your question. Lets say for argument sake he was on something OK. We don't know if it was the wrong stuff since we don't know what it was and what it was used for correct?I am not trying to single you out. I am trying to figure out what you guys are trying to debate here. You just seemed like the one that knew what they were talking about. To me it sounds like this debate is about nothing. He was caught with a DWI 3 weeks before the fight. That's not good. But, that is nothing that can make anyone think he was on something. But, if you add this with everything else up. I think anyone with sense can come up that something shady was likey to happen. 2 days before the weigh-in he had 8 pounds left to lose. Just think about the 8 pounds in 2 days, plus the DWI in 3 weeks, then he losses those 8 pounds in 2 days but adds 21 pounds over night. With his stamina going strong in the last round as if it was the first round. And, then add that there was no testing. With his history of being caught using diuretics. Something isn't right there.Comment

Rubio didn't let slide. And, apparently the per WBC rules doesn't matter in Texas. The WBC have been on record saying that they have NO jurisdiction in Texas to test.
So according to the WBC, there "RULE" is not valid in Texas. In Texas they would not be tested per the WBC. Because, by the WBC own words they have no jurisdiction there.Comment

I'm going to go out on a limb. But, I don't think you know what state commission busted Chavez do you?
It's fine if you don't. You probably not from the U.S. You're probably from a country that has ONE sole commission running the sport there. So I'm going to try and help you understand the difference here. The U.S has 50 different boxing commission states. 50 different, all have 50 different rules, not all 50 states do testing believe it or not. And, the states that do the testing not all of them use the same method.
Again to make this more simplistic. I will answer the question that you couldn't answer. And, believe me there wasn't anything smartass about it. Chavez was tested positive in Nevada.
The NSAC caught him. I think it was back in 08' against Troy Lowry. Since he was busted by Nevada do you know how many times he has fought there since? Go look at boxrec to see how many times he has fought there since being caught. And, then when you get the answer. Get back to me.Comment

There wass alot of discussion about that, and the WBC announced that the State Commission's rules had precedence over the WBC, I recall an interview given by a WBC official, can't remember who it was.Comment

It was the main Jefe, Don Jose Sulaiman who said it. The F'ing president who runs the WBC that's who it was.
The WBC is a mess
