Actually he has, he said it'd be an honor to fight Ward but at 164 as he doesn't want to be at too much of a disadvantage. Right now that fight looks really ****** as Martinez has had his work cut out for him at 160, even against the likes of Barker and Macklin, so there is absolutely no reason why he should face Ward.

This is right Martinez has said plenty of times he will not fight Super Middleweight fighters, because he will be to small to fight them, but Pac and Mayweather are not to small to fight him...

That must have been a new interview, because when Juan Larena of Combate Space interviewed him at ringside of I don't remember what fight it was, Martinez said he will not fight Bute, Ward or any other Super Middleweight because they will be to big for him.

And after that he said he wanted a fight with Floyd LOL!

The interview I'm talking about was, I believe it was before the Barker fight, he also went off at Chavez Jr in it. He should definitely stay away from 168 though.

Man nobody's is calling Canelo a coward, the promoters are the cowards... in this case De La Hoya will be a coward if Martinez push for a fight with Canelo.

I'm sure Canelo will gladly fight Martinez tomorrow.

That's right, but a Ward fight at a catchweight of 163-164 could be very possible to make.

It will be a fight that HBO will love to have, also Ward is a small Super Middleweight.

Its actually simple for Sergio, go up to 168 and beat Ward, it will be an upset and he will be everyone's #1 pound for pound, and at that point, he calls all the shots.
