Fight Lara, put your name on the map at 154, then you become a viable option for Floyd. I mean give the the public/ even the HBO commentators something to talk about. He should quit going after guys that aren't gonna fight him.

that's what DiBella said and not Martinez, DiBella often says things that are contray to what Martinez actually says. sometimes I think DiBella's running off at the mouth probably hurt Martinez's public image more than anything else.

Martinez's biggest problem is that he doesn't speak english

Canelo will fight Floyd next--that was part of the deal to get him on the May 5th card.

Once again, Sergio is on the outside looking in. I'd love to see Sergio fight 3 times a year and clear out all the big names at 154 and 160. Lara, Kirkland, Chavez, whoever has a strap and is highly ranked.

Martinez was the top guy at 154 before he got the 160 crown. the only reason he moved up is because nobody wanted to fight him at 154. not because he was a beast or anything like that but he's a slick south paw and no promoter likes making those kind of fights.

guys don't come straight foward on him because they know they'll get KOed. the same is happening to Donaire after his Montiel KO. the only difference is Martinez adapts and gets the KO and Donaire doesn't.

Now he's irrelevant at that weight and it doesn't look good to see a MW calling out a WW in public, not everyone knows he moved up or that he's a small MW. Floyd's fighting Cotto at 154, Martinez said he plans to move down, he needs to move down and beat a credible opponent, bring life into a fight between him and Floyd. Unlike everyone I'm not caught up in the whole Floyd isn't gonna fight him thing, it's 2012...

Waiting on Chavez or Canelo is useless, Lara is a good pick.

martinez hasnt said gaga about the move up to face ward because martinez is afraid...and as far as dibella often say things contray to what martinez say, u can say the same thing about pac...alot of pacs people talk for pac (ariza says one thing, arum says another, roach says another, etc,,,,)...THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN PAC IS A LIAR when most of the talk isnt even coming out of his own mouth

Every time someone mentions Martinez's name, these belt holders see Paul Williams falling in slow motion and that's why he can't get a fight

When did Canelo said that he will not fight Sergio? or are you just delusional??

If you are referring to Oscar not wanting Canelo to fight Sergio, then yes you are right

But these guys will love to have a chance to test their luck on Martinez low guard!...
