Martinez is 5'9; Margarito is 5'10. Why can't Pac fight Sergio?

Pac in all his fights at 147 including the Margarito fight, he never weigh in above 149 during fight night. No wonder Margarito has 17 lbs weight advantage over him during the fight. After the fight, Pac said he will never fight above 147 again. You may wonder why. In Martinez, if this fight happens at 154, expect Martinez to enjoy a 20 lbs advantage or more. If that is fair for you the you can go to hell.
This is what I'm talking about when it comes to being inconsistent.

Back when Pac made that huge jump to fight DLH (2008) and Cotto, you guys were referencing Pac's fight night weight during his 2nd fight with Marquez (2008) and using that as leverage to prove your point on him putting on all that weight in 2008 was natural.

Now, here we are a few years later, it's no longer "look at Pac's fight night weight", you're actually acknowledging that fight night weight and actual fight weight are two different things.

See, this is what I'm talking about with your flip flops.

Now that you acknowledge fight night weight is completely different than fighting at that weight, you see why there was such a buzz in Pac's 15 pound jump in 2008.

Of course you won't recognize that, you'll probably flop back and find a different excuse now.

Please, just stop. We all need to be honest when our favorite fighter is wrong and beating the system. But it starts with a lot of you pac fans.

I thought Roach said he was too tall? Either way doesnt make much sense since Margarito is the same height.

Exactly, there's no way around it really, Martinez is too athletic for Pacquiao to fight, period.

Why do you think Sergio is ducking Pacquiao?? They ask him now and he tries to avoid talking about manny like crazy "uhh uu no pacquiao is too small, eh floyd is who i want". He has pretty much recognized he couldn't beat the Pacman just like Roy jones and many other experts agree.

And as for fighting Martinez you can't use Margarito as an example. He is thin and light boned. Sam Langford, for example was 5'7" and fought as a heavyweight. Tommy Burns the same. And there have been many others of low stature who have fought in the heavier weights. It's all a matter of skeletal shape and bone density, along with muscle mass.
            Please, just stop.

Contrary to perceptions, unbeaten American Tim Bradley is naturally bigger than Manny Pacquiao and will come in heavier than the Filipino ring superstar when they tangle on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

"By way of comparison, Pacquiao walks around at about 154."

Secondly, you can't compare Margarito to Sergio?

Since when? Margarito was bigger when he fought Pac at 150 on fight night, than Sergio is when he fights at 154. You're wrong Ed.

I imagine Martinez will be more effective at 160 than he is at 154. Stronger, puncher harder, perhaps. Not sure.

154 just seems like a more logical weight. Both can make the 148-154 limit and it's a winnable fight for either, IMO.

              Same goes for Mayweather.
How much did Martinez weigh-in at? Was it 157? I don't know how much he would struggle to make 154.

I don't see much difference in him in such.

Neither guy would have a problem making weight. But, I think one guy will have pretty huge size advantage by fight time. So much so, that I can't see Pac winning.

I think Floyd beats him though. I agree with that.

I very much would like to see Pac take on Martinez at 154. Pac don't have to come in at the weight limit. Pac would expose that dude as soon as Pac connects.

But this is an idiotic thread by a Floydiot. Why would you want Martinez for Pac and not Martinez for Floyd? If I am a real fan of Floyd I would want the best for my idol.

                  This TS is a clown.

You see? You got caught again in your mouth. You should not talk randomly spitting garbage if you didnt know the details. When Pac was fighting 126, 130, 135, 140, 147 did you know most of his opponents were weighed in more lbs than Pacquaio during fight night? Now you exaggerating things once again to fit in your hidden agenda. You are talking like Pac jumped 15 lbs from one fight to his next fight like he had 15 lbs advantage over them during the fight. SMH.
