Martinez is 5'9; Margarito is 5'10. Why can't Pac fight Sergio?

To be fair to BoxingGenius, there are alot of Pac fans who claim Pacquaio deserves credit for beating Margarito because of his height. In a recent thread, actually.
Yet, in this thread, height now means nothing? Which one is it?
When someone responds to "Pacquaio deserves credit for beating Margarito because he's bigger" with "So Mayweather deserves credit for beating Baldomir?" it conveniently becomes a thing about height and not weight.
Then when it's switched up to height. It's not not height, but weight.
I'm not saying Mayweather deserves credit for Baldomir because he's bigger than him and the same for Pac's win over Margarito. Just highlighting the double standard/ ****** logic.
I personally don't give credit for either win because Baldomir's not very good and Margarito was shot to pieces. Regardless of the fact both are vastly smaller than their opponent.
I just hate when people flip flop day in and day out just to meet their objective. I try to be consistent as I possibly can.
People like to make blanket accusations against me as if all Floyd fan's say the same thing, but when I ask them to quote me, like I quote others, I don't hear back from them.
Let's just all be consistent here and we all can get along.Comment

Haye's win over Valuev must've made him a top 10 ATG straight away.Comment

Maybe if people like yourself didn't try to make him out to be a demi-god, you wouldn't hear these types of questions.
You pac fans prance around, making Pac out to be some greek mythology character, but the minute someone asks him to live up to his myth's, you guys get crazy defensive and try to come to his rescue like you guys fear for his life.
Let the man live up to his legend and accomplish something he's well within grasp of accomplishing.
It makes poster's like you look bad when you get so defensive when someone asks the former Junior middleweight champ to fight a real junior middleweight champ.
You guys like to brag about how cool it is to fight at your walking around weight, well Pac walks around at 154; once again, here's your perfect chance to allow your idol/hero/demi-god to live up to the high expectations you guys place on him everyday.

.[/QUOTE]Just a fight. That was a cherrypick, to showcase Pacquiao's limited skills against a punching bag and for the media, writers, HBO to talk about how great Pacquiao is for fighting a bum who weighs 20 more pounds than him. Haye's win over Valuev must've made him a top 10 ATG straight away.
I dont get the Haye Valuev statement?Comment

Pacquiao was wanting to fight Yuri Foreman at 154lbs for another title, why not Martinez? Oh because he would get knocked into next week, that's why.Comment

Pac walks around at 154 lbs. He didn't have a problem putting on 15 pounds in a year when he fought DLH and people seem to think he always fights at his walking around weight, so why can't Pac fight Sergio at 154?
Sergio is shorter than Margarito, who Pac had no problem fighting. Pac is walking around at 154. Forget what Team Pac said about 150 lbs, he can make 154.
All he has to do is have Ariza make those special shakes.
And as for fighting Martinez you can't use Margarito as an example. He is thin and light boned. Sam Langford, for example was 5'7" and fought as a heavyweight. Tommy Burns the same. And there have been many others of low stature who have fought in the heavier weights. It's all a matter of skeletal shape and bone density, along with muscle mass.Comment
