Assuming Pac's out of the picture, Canelo and Khan would still be bigger draws. Sergio does bring something to the table, but not as much as the other two. So if Khan and Canelo screw up maybe this fight would make sense. Bradley could end up in the mix too if he pulls off the upset; I give him a real shot.Comment

Mayweather doesnt fight people coming off non impressive wins. Sergio needs to knock out or defeat a high profile fighter and get exposure. Fighting these no names Euros aren't going to get him a fight with Mayweather IMO.
Maybe the fight vs Chavez could provide him with the opportunity he needs to get a Mayweather fight.Comment

Damn Russian, didn't know you was overlooking my boy that bad. I believe Cotto even at this stage, thanks to gaining some of his old confidence back after the cheato victory, and with this wild-card type trainer will prove to have too much resilience, boxing ability (especially that stiff jab and his bounce is crazy), power and sense of timing. Mayweather may very well retire after the 5th. Just sayin'.Sergio didnt look great until after the 8th
Macklin(a terrible boxer) was actually 50-50 in the fight while simply boxing and got a knockdown
Sergio's main tool is a counter jab and a str8 left and is very predictable. His main strategy is to break down the opponent but Floyd doesnt break down. He's as fresh in the 12th as he in the 11th
Floyd should take this fight now, which he will winComment

But he's not Cotto anymoreComment

He brings nothing to the table. He just fought in a 2000 seat arena and 90% of the people there were for the challenger.Assuming Pac's out of the picture, Canelo and Khan would still be bigger draws. He needs to fight Chavez Jr and get his stock up.
and why is the MW champ calling out the smaller guys? Why isn't he calling out Dirrell or Ward or Bute or anyone @168.
A fight with him vs Sturm would be interesting i guess....Comment

I find the whole "he won't get any credit for it" line pretty lazy and redundant.
It's a fantastic fight to be made. Anyone who isn't a ******* or a huge Floyd hater realises this.
It won't happen, though. Floyd is too risk averse to make it happen (people often forget that he initially tried to get out of the Mosley fight by discrediting Mosley about his losses/PED use).
The thing about Sergio is - we can see the flaws he has that Floyd would be able to exploit. But he's also a southpaw who has a good chin and is knocking out JWWs/MWs.
The Costas interview makes me think no way does Floyd take this fight next.
If he does - huge credit from me (and I consider myself a hater).Comment
