also i dont think floyd is around 150 walk around unless he really does take working out inbetween fights seriously, he has to be in the high 150's, these guys come to the ring on an empty stomach(more fluids than weigh in, obviously) in the high 140's, i dont think when they are stuffing there faces they are (esspecially floyd) be just around 150, unless again, he takes working out inbetween fights seriously
I don't think he's that small for the class personally I think he's a comfortable WW. A big strong, Jr WW were he to fight there.

The 140 Division is lucky that the money is at 147 because I shudder to think how awesome and strong Pac would be at 140.

I'm not sure it wouldn't surprise me if Pac hit the gym between fights. Perhaps not hard but he strikes me as a guy who lieks to stay in shape year round.

I'd say Mayweather walks around at about 150-154. He's never really shown that he walks around any higher than that.

I do agree Mayweather is bigger than Pacquaio but again I don't think it's by much, personally.

Also, if they aren't even in the conversation, than how is Barry Mcguigan, Floyd Patterson, and James Braddock in????? And I like Floyd Patterson. Patterson's best wins were Moore, Harris, Johansson, McNeeley, Cooper, Bonavena, and London. He was actually similar to Hatton in the sense that he was one of the best at his weight in his era, but failed against his two best opponents (Patterson vs. Liston & Ali, Hatton vs. Mayweather & Pacquiao).

Look at the resumes of those couple guys off the top of my head that are in the HOF, and than the resumes of Hatton, Corrales, Castillo, and G. Hernandez, and then tell me why they aren't even considered to be in the conversation???

If Boxing wants to start getting picky on who's in and who's not in, than they started way too late. They've let way too many people in the HOF that would be deemed not worthy to be in it if they were fighting today. And given who had to wait a long time but has finally gotten in over the last 20-30 years, I'd say there's a pretty good shot that at some point in the next 50-60 years, a lot Floyd's opponents will be in eventually.
Like im all heart seeingTszyu get in the hall. Look, there is just nobody in PBF's collected scalps that were HOF calibre that was still in his prime.

      Deal with it...

"MANILA, Philippines - Manny Pacquiao is walking around at 153 pounds and is in no hurry to kick off training for his Nov. 14 fight with Miguel Cotto."

Article was used in another thread on here but I forget which one.

It was the first I'd honesty read that Pacquaio was walking around above 150 Lbs.

floyd doesnt, in his last fight he was 150lbs with about a month to go for ortiz. and that is pretty much his mo. floyd may be bigger than pac, but its def by no more than a lb or 2. they both fight in the same weight category/class tho.

yeah this is what I remember reading too...160 was a slight exaggeration on my end....nonetheless it really did murder this whole "pacquiao kills himself for extra ounces" leading up to fight night.

completely disagree, like he is doing now vs cotto, like a week in it was reported he was at what?(i forgot)
there were reports of him working out long before the training camp, the guy is like bhop, he's just in the gym more

nonito donaire walks around at 140, bradley at 160, it doesn't mean nothin
but floyd definitely is working his ass off so as not to blow up or he'd be at the 160's at least
