Vitali was just as effective against Lewis as he has been for all the various other 45 fighters he's faced... so stating something as assinine as that WHEN WE HAVE AMPLE PROOF as to what he does or is capable of doing to the creme of the crop is borderline trolling... & please don't tell me it was someone else doing a great impersonation of Lennox Lewis.. That is precisely the point I have been trying to make to these Klit fans. Their skills aren't the greatest but combining those skills with their height and weight advantages, it makes them a formidable opponent in this era. HOWEVER, the quality of opponents they have fought do not compare to the golden ages of the sixties, early seventies and late eighties and nineties.

The Klits are good fighters but that is all it takes in this era. Look at the state of the rest of the heavyweights who are vying to take their crown. Fat, out of shape and bereft of any skills that wouldn't even allow them to leave the amateur ranks had they were living in other era's. Lewis was overweight, unfit, unmotivated, at the end of his career and he still ripped open the face of someone who in his prime at the time, is still ruling the division 8 years later and is considered the best today. That alone should tell you the skill level of the current crop.

A cut didn't slow his roll. Lewis, a great fighter, made him pay for fighting that way while the lesser opponents couldn't. Thats the whole point. Vitali looked good in losing, but he still lost. He may look good against Tyson, but he still loses.

When your opposition is trash and you lose and quit against the only two live opponenets you face, logic dictates the same result against another live opponent.

Ok you guys asked for it... here's a list of all the things 46 DIFFERENT fighters have tried to do in a Vitali Klitschko bout but failed miserably in doing so.. Prime Mike Tyson is going to be the first to do any one of these things according to the haters logic because of the fact Mike is special like that..... PAY ATTENTION!

1) Send him to the floor so he can smooch it at least once by a punch.
2) Throw more punches than him
3) Throw more jabs than him
4) Throw more power shots than him
5) Land more punches than him
6) Land more jabs than him
7) Land more power shots than him
8) Win 3 rds against him
9) Be ahead on scorecards at the completion of the bout let alone the second rd.
10) Win a bout while Klitschko's physical health isn't a hindrance to the end result.

I'll leave it at the top 10 as those are just some off the top of my head...... You guys realize that all 10 of these are at the very worst 100% individually tied as boxing records except for # 8 & 9 (but that's pretty much regarded as a record knowbrainer but factually can be topped... the others i mentioned can't be topped because they are absolute & can only be tied at best)
