Almost doing well against an ATG is not going to cut it. He has to actually defeat somebody good to even be considered.

I can answer it for him then: Tyson could fight longer because he wasn't stopped by the ref against his will...aside from that there was a thread here recently from a poster claiming that black skin was less less likely to get cut, although I'm not sure what to make out of that.

If Tyson bobbed and weaved with a flick jab crouched and switched southpaw then that left hook would do miracles. If Vitali threw a 1-2 Tyson would bob it and come back with a left hook to the body followed by a left hook upstairs. In no way do I see either brothers beating him.

Jimmy thinks racism is one of the reasons people don't like Vitali and WLad. He also goes with the jingoism. SO in his (and maybe your) mind people evaluate Vitali based on his being non american and white rather than his record.
