The thing is though, similar tactics might actually work against Vitali. He is not as smart a fighter as Wladimir and will open himself up to be hit more. Plus he's slow and clumsy with his punches, not as precise and tight as Wlad. I hate to say it but Gaye does have a chance in the fight if he puts conviction into his performance.....but whether he would or not is the biggest question.

it's a damn shame seeing two robots knocking off tomato cans

You should be ashamed and embarrassed for even thinking Haye has a remote chance to beat Vitali. That's pathetic.
So there is no excuse for Vitali being true to his word and fighting Haye and KOing him.

Tell me when the fight is signed.

Is this what it's come down to? Vitali is all of a sudden old & now there's at least a blueprint... rush in against him with your head down & you cut him down to size...

What don't you people get about Derek ONLY winning 2 rds officially on the scorecards & didn't get stopped ONLY because the jab wasn't there to soften him up for most of the fight.

That jab is in his face all night & then the right hand behind it becomes more effective & it's Briggs all over again.. perhaps Chisora makes it to the final bell but HE certainly books himself a stint at the hospital in Briggs old digs & NEVER even gets to the post fight presser.

& let's also pretend that Haye is going to have the same aggression as Chisora.... when we all know Haye is just waiting to counter just like he did vs Chisora. Styles make fights & injuries determine them..

Vitali 60yrs old in a rocking chair & you ain't outboxing him .. let alone tipping him over.. so let's please stop the madness. Haye is still the same Haye & Vitali is still the same Vitali.... NOT to be messsed with if you value your health & Haye definitely values his.. As he might even rival Kj's record low punch output vs VK... BTW vITALI would've never went down from a glassed Hayemaker.. smack him from close range with an open hand & he doesn't even bat an eyelash..... kapish!

Illegal, ever heard of self defense, Haye and anyone else has a legal right to protect themselves.

So when is Vitali signing to fight Haye, or was that just talk about desperately wanting to KO Haye.

Don't say things if you don't mean them.

Although you'd probably consider that one of their greatest victories.
He was a legit champ and defended his title against live opponents.
You guys act like Peter wasn't a beast at his best. He 'Petered' out early and was a shadow of himself after getting punished by Vitali but he was a very tough guy and actually beat Toney twice when it actually still mattered. He wasn't some joke as you would like to imagine.

Lol, Vitali is probably smartest heavyweight of all time if not the smartest boxer period. He has never been down because he's so smart and knows his limitations. What he can do and cannot do. That was an ignorant post if I have ever seen one from you.

Haye's word means zippo, so why should Vitali do anything he wants based on trust? Haye only decided he wanted the fight after Chisora had minimal success against the big man anyways.

Stop trying to take up for a coward liar like Haye, you are only dragging yourself through the mud with him.

That being said, I want to see the fight but don't care if it happens or not. The Klitschko business with Haye is done as far as I'm concerned.

Haye was involved in negotiations with Vitali for months, and he agreed to everything Vitali wanted, then Vitali goes and fights Chisora.

But it doesn't matter what Haye said, Vitali is the one that talked up how much he wanted the fight and how he would KO Haye, but it seems like it was just talk and is now doing everything he can to not make the fight happen.

So do you think Vitali will man up or will he fight another gimme fight.

Be true to your word Vitali or retire.

You can't be serious if you believe Haye's and Booth's words more than you believe K2 management. Haye pulled out of Klitschko fights twice, one time because of a su****ious injury, which he could NEVER prove with a medical document. How do you know it's not Haye who is making negotiations impossible?
