I dont know where you live, but I have to agree with him. I have worked hard all my life, but kids today are growing soft. Maybe you can make a pool of hard working people, so can I. But the real life in PR, in the barrio, in the caserios, parcelas y barriadas, life aint like you are making it to be. Our trainers in PR suck. In boxing they are not good. Felix Trinidad Sr only had his kid, a hard working jibarito. Other than that he dont know how to train a guy. Why cant you accept that we need help from outside to improve in certain areas? Basketball, we are decent. Number 12 in the world, probably pretty good. However, we wasted years with Manolo Cintron because people in the island thought it was good when realtiy, Manolo was bad. Only know how to ride his horse and not build a team.

PR has changed so much in the last 25 years cause of the mentality, Puerto Rico lo hace mejor. We are damn ********** who think we cant improve with help from other countries other than f.ing USA. **** that mentality. I rather look west or south for help than north.

Though in my opinion, Manolo's years weren't wasted save for 2010. We didnt have a good team from 2006-2008, that we where the 13th team (last team eliminated) just shows how good we are.

We got crushed by Greece, Germany, Croatia, USA, Argentina, etc. and only beat Slovenia, cause apparently they're the ricans of Europe and play down to other teams level.
Back in 2010 we actually had a good team and Manolo f'd it up (though Ayuso too was responsible)

Last year we sent a team without Vasallo, Peavy, Ramos (whose not great but still better than Narvaez and Villafañe), and Huertas, yet only lost by 2 to Argentina's full team (save for Gutierrez who was at best Argentina's 2nd point guard after Prigioni).

No hate at all, but read my posts to see who rocked Cotto. Too many people actually, Cotto is chinny and his punch resistance is garbage. Any opposite thought leads me to believe that the person is a nut hugger, which is also ok.
