Any list that has Pacquiao as number one is a whack list. How does the media just ignore that you were just favored in a robbery. But then Paul Williams gets moved down in the JMW rankings in his robbery win over Lara. Media/journalist bias trying to hold on to the hypejob fraud that is Manny Pacquiao with his mediocre wins.
Gamboa is now #10 P4P by the RING.....

I had Pac winning narrowly in Marquez III. It wasn't in the ballpark of Williams-Lara. The list explains why I otherwise have him 1. I've switched the two of them back and forth pretty *******ly for the last couple years when they haven't been tied.Any list that has Pacquiao as number one is a whack list. But, hey, whatever. Must be bias or some other insidious thing.

Boxingscene(Cliff Rold) rankings are better rankings than other rankings I have seen which includes ESPN, The Ring, Boxrec. And, that goes for division and P4P rankings.Any list that has Pacquiao as number one is a whack list. How does the media just ignore that you were just favored in a robbery. Nothing bias about it.Comment

Thanks for the cool words. There have been times where I drastically overrated some smaller guy P4P but I don't lose sleep over it. P4P is for fun. I worry more about getting the divisions right. Fights actually happen in divisions.Comment

It happens. I been very high on Roman Gonzalez for the last 5 years. I have him in my top 15 P4P. I thought after the Niida fight he was going to skyrocket but it has been a slow developments since that amazing performance.
BTW, I haven't seen an article about it yet here on Boxingscene. But, Gonzalez opponent Ramon Garcia(who was the replacement of his twin brother Raul Garcia) pulled out of the fight due to an injury. So Gonzalez is now fighting Manuel Jimenez on March 17. Just another disappointed opponent IMO.Comment

Didn't see that. Thanks for the heads up.

Of all the guys you rank, do you take time to watch all of their fights and follow their careers or do you have to sometimes resort to boxrec like some of us have to do here and there?
Also what do you take into consideration when making your contemporary rankings?Comment
