inb4 turds want to claim 40 hatton that faced pac after getting ko by floyd was better than 47 hatton who didnt have to come down as far in weight and preferred fighting Floyd at 47 over 40 bc he and his team were confident theyd BEAT Floyd at 47

      This one is easy.

Hatton at 145+ in weight has a record of 1 win and 1 loss. Hatton looked shaky in both of those fights. After the Collazo fight, Hatton felt so UNCONFIDENT at 147 that he went back down to 140lbs for 2 fights.
The only reason that Hatton fought again at WW is because he got the opportunity to fight Floyd.

Hatton at below that weight has won over 40 fights and 1 loss to Manny. Hatton said he was KING at 140 and thought he was unbeatable at 140lbs.

Manny fought the better Hatton. At 147, Hatton couldn't fight his fight for 12 rounds like he did at 140lbs.

This one is so obvious that it shows who are the ones that are bias towards their hero ...... Floyd.

Of the common opponents, here's how I break it down.

De La Hoya: Both fought past prime versions, only Floyd him at 154 lbs where he held a title and Pac fought him at 145 lbs, and he hadn't been at WW in 8-9 years. Floyd gets more credit because he it first and did it at a real weight for Oscar at the time.

Hatton: Floyd fought a prime Hatton, probably the last time you'd really call Hatton prime. Hatton was also Top 10 P4P when Floyd fought him. Pac fought a past prime-still good Hatton, and at Hatton's unbeaten weight of 140 lbs. Floyd gets more credit because he beat the better version and because he did it first. Though, Manny still sgets big credit for beating Hatton.

Mosley: Both fought past prime versions of Mosley. Only Floyd fought him coming off 2 knockout wins, one over Margarito when Marg had just KO'd Cotto. And Floyd fought Shane when he held the WBA title and when he was Top 10 P4P at the time. Pac fought him coming off a loss to Floyd and a draw with Mora, where a ton of people felt he lost as well. Floyd gets more credit because he did it first and did when Shane was at a higher spot coming in.

Marquez: Manny fought a prime Marquez in 04', but only got a draw. Then, both fought past prime-still good versions of Marquez in 08' and 09', and when Marquez was Top 10 P4P. Pac beat him at 130 though, even though it was controversial, still the better win. Floyd did dominate and shut Marquez out though. And then Pac fought a past prime version of Marquez in 11', at the same weight Floyd did, and though he won, struggled again. So Manny gets more credit for Marquez because he did it first, and at 130 lbs. Though, Floyd still gets credit for shutting Marquez out at a weight he arguably beat Pac at.

Cotto: Both fought past prime-still good versions of Cotto. I don't really put much weight into the whole "Cotto was at 145 against Manny", that was NOT the reason he lost. Just like Floyd weighing 146 against Marquez was not the reason JMM got whupped. Manny gets more credit for Cotto because he beat him first though. Still though, Floyd will get his credit for beating Cotto at 154 lbs.

That's how I look at their similar opponents.

So if a guy is confident at 147 don't you think he would stay at 147 instead of going down for his next 2 fights?

AFTER the Floyd fight and in preparation for the Manny fight, Hatton said that he is KING at 140lbs and not at 147lbs. He admitted where he belonged on several occasions ...... but more importantly, his record showed that he was a career 140lbs fighter and only came up to 147 for the "big fight"

It's easy to realize ..... unless you are blinded by your hero Floyd!

The Guy suffered the first loss of his career and was humiliated in front of his fans. What do you expect him to do besides save face?

Still doesnt change the fact that Hatton and his team were BEYOND CONFIDENT theyd BEAT Floyd at 47 rather than 40. They said they felt the weight benefited them more than Floyd but they underestimated how strong Floyd is, how great of any inside fighter he is and the last thing they expected was for Floyd to turn Hattons own style back on Hatton.

and was that you who said Hatton had a bad training camp leading up to the May fight b.c thats wrong. he had a terrible training camp leading up to the Pac fight with a new trainer who was totally wrong for hia style at such a late stage in his career. a trainer who STOPPED training him and was trying to change up everything about him

You cant rewrite history but keep trying.

and your hero has been doing fine at "WW" but got tossed up by a guy smaller than him so which weight class is pacjuiceman best at?

Hatton fought Pac? I musta blinked.
Hatton struggled badly with Collazo. But Floyd did damage him. Yet Pac blew him da *** away. So which performance was better? Pacs. But all credit to Floyd and Joe Cortez.

Hatton actually won rounds vs Floyd, how many vs Pacquiao?

Hatton couldn't even give an interview after Pacquiao and was rushed to the hospital. After Floyd, he gave tv interviews, post-fight press conference, then went to his after party
