Hatton admitted that he went back down to where he was KING .... he did it twice .... it's so easy to see why he went up to 147 .... he wanted the chance to face Floyd and it being only his 2nd time there was not going to stop him from this opportunity .... but to say that he was better at 147 than at 140 is crazy .... just look at the record.
and to say that he was not the same because he lost 1 fight .... well, it only puts questions onto the person who made that remark ..... because plenty of fighters have lost way worse and were far more devastated than Hatton and managed to come back from that ...... and Hatton still knew that he lost but it was at 147 where he never was KING so there was nothing to be ashamed of since he was still ruler at 140 ..... but some come here and make that Floyd loss like it was the end of the world ... it was not!Comment

Hatton cried not because he won but because he was embarrassed and ashamed. He let his fans down.. he cried because he lost for the first time in his career and couldn't handle it. He couldn't handle it that he blew up to a fat lard, fired his team and hired a crack head who was not in his best interest. Hatton admitted AFTER the Floyd fight that he was KING at 140 not at 147 and Manny will lose badly .... Hatton's trainer said the same .... Hatton kept on saying it ... but you must have spoken to Hatton's doctors and gotten the word .... but if that is so, let's see some proof!!! Man, I have been asking for your proof like forever now!
By the way, I was just wondering what the word is on the streets about Floyd vs Cotto? After going to hell and back twice with Margarito and then Manny do you think Cotto is done? Just asking ...

Since you want to change topic, I'll enlighten you.
You can down play Pac's win vs Cotto all you want but your barking up the wrong tree. I said long ago that Cotto has never been the same since the beating he took from Margarito. However at least Cotto got his revenge and has improved and moved on from that loss while winning another belt at another weight class. Hatton fought 2 bums back to back. He was done.
Now if you knew anything about me, you would know I have said for years now that Mayweather would look good fighting Cotto, whether that be back when both where under the TR banner, at 147 or now at 154. The outcome would be the same regardless of weight or damage.
Now saying that, Pac seems to think Cotto is too much for him, thats the difference. Don't be mad that Pac, being the nice guy that he is, warned Mayweather of just how dangerous Cotto will be.Last edited by WESS; 03-10-2012, 01:14 AM.Comment

It's incredible how you see it differently when they fight Manny and when they fight Floyd.
Cotto has gone thru hell twice .... and the beating he got and what Cotto had to go thru is way way more than Hatton went thru
Since Manny, it's not like we saw Cotto fight elite opponents. Not even good opponents yet you make it out to be that Hatton was done but Cotto is reborn?
Cotto beat a one legged man, Mayorga the entertainer and the one-eyed Margarito.
I like Cotto and wish him the best because he has been in some wars but come on. Hatton was done and beat up bums but Cotto has "improved", "won", got a "title" and it appears you believe that he is "dangerous"?
