ive watched every single floyd fight. if u dunno what im talking about then i suggest u do the same. if u are unawares then mebbe u shouldnt be commenting on it. while ur at it watch roys fights to, because merchant certainly knew how to bad mouth him too.

Larry Merchant likes the more high contact fighters anyway, so Floyd already has a mark against him in Merchant's book. Add to that Floyds' personality and the fact that Floyd professes to be better than all of Merchant's favorite fighters from back in the day and for Merchant there's a lot to dislike.

Maybe that's the way YOU would behave, but you're accusing a tough, hardened veteran reporterof being a temperamental child.

You are very right.It was Merchant who drew my attention to Mayweather in the beginning. Until then I never bothered watching him. One night, during a fight, Merchant said "I don't know any other good fighter who can stink up the place the way Mayweather does, with people walking out of a quarter filled arena" etc. and then the camera watched Michael Jordan and another celebrity walking out during a round, and a few others too.

From then on, I always remembered his name, and yes, true enough his fights were genuine sleeping pills. And then he took disgusting advantage of the desperate Corrales. Because of that sham of a fight, I've decided that I don't care for Mayweather.

The Corrales fight was a sham? Chico was a beast coming into that fight and favored if I'm not mistaken. Floyd tuned him up.

war is a figue of speech, stop being an ass. and merchant has criticized floyds fights on numerous occasions irregardless of what he has said in the ring afterwards. but i dont expect u to know that, u probably havent seen any fight but the hatton fight, which im sure ive watched over 100x or so waiting for a different outcome.
