agreed, he's not a fraud along those lines. he's been a talented fighter for quite some time now.

For me weighing over by 9 pounds against Funeka is worse then anything Chavez did, not to mention the continuos problem of coming in over weight

Neither are frauds. . . Chavez Jr., for all his shortcomings in regards to talent, has dedicated himself to boxing, and was able to win a world championship from Zbik, who is a pretty solid little boxer. . . Remember this guy has little to no amateur background, and started boxing when he was like what? 19? Even with Top Rank and getting everything the easy way, going undefeated in 40 some fights isn't something just anybody could do.

Guzman has been boxing since he came out the womb. . . Extensive ammy career. . All the tools you could ask for. . But he has squandered them. So far he's accomplished more than Chavez, but I don't see him beating any of the world class, or fringe world class guys at 140.

Keep in mind Funeka actually did cheat in that fight by using a banned substance. How else can a 6'2 fighter make 135?
