klitschko Vs Any American = Mismatch

    already beaten thompson
arreola already beaten (and does not deserve remact after loss to adamek)
    Michael Grant - Glass Chin

Seth Mitchell - who knpws, but right now too green.

maybe he Wlad should fight holyfield, grant and lawrence in one 12 rounder, 4 rounds each. proabaly knock them all out

Wlad against anyone at the moment = mismatch. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing Lawrence, Mitchell or Arreola against him.

I see Mitchell having a chance in a few years, but he'd be better off to grab the belts once they retire, so he can build a good legacy.

That's a bit of a pussy Povetkin thing to do though. I'd rather Mitchell take on a few increasingly good names, win in good fashion then fight Wlad for the title. If he loses he loses.

...ooh, that sounded a bit Rocky didn't it?

even though he's clearly the much more talented of the two, mitchell has very little experience boxing

povetkin was an olympian and a gold medalist, and has been in the top ten for years now.

mitchell has never been past 8 rounds
he's only boxed 80 rounds as a pro
and he had 10 amateur fights.

he's actually terrific support for my proposition that all of the large talented americans are playing football and basketball

and mitchell is on the lower end of the talent pool. he never even made it to the NFL due to injuries. he was not durable enough.

personally i dont think mitchell will ever be likely to have an iceberg's chance in hell against wladimir. a punchers chance, perhaps, but thats about it.

There are no American's worth fighting. Arreola is still overweight and hasnt beaten anyone since he got lost to Vitali.

Seth Mitchell looks like a good prospect but is still 12-18months off fighting for a title.

Well Mitchell is strong and has good power although is to inexperinced. In 18 months time Wlad may well be on the decline and Mitchell could catch him at the right time, who knows.

And Martinez is pretty awesome support for claiming all the top middleweights are playing soccer. No need to drag the NFL into this. Let Mitchell earn his stripes as a fighter, not a football reject.

i dont see him declining in 18 months to a level anywhere near that which he'd need to decline to lose to mayhem mitchell

the guy still boxes like a total novice.

he's winning on athletic quality alone (sad, considering he's not some awesome athletic specimen. he's a run of the mill college football player.)
