I don't know what Floyd reason was for not getting them out of there but by the way he shut them two out there is no doubt in my mind that he could have if he wanted to. Wasn't like he was having difficulty with either fighter.

Floyd has beat all the top guys at the time he was in those divisions he won titles at. Any fighter that was considered the best at that time, he beat.

Now how many has Cotto beat in their prime?

I mean Cottos 1st Win over a titleholder was Yuri Foreman A guy with 8 knockouts

This dude is forgetting Pacquiao fought Marquez 3 times (36 Rounds total) in 8 years @ 3 different weight classes and wasn't able to knock out Marquez. This dude is forgetting it took Mayweather an easy 12 rounds after a 19 month layoff to toy with Marquez & Pac in 8 years still hasn't convincingly defeated Marquez.

              Cotto has never been TKO'd/KO'd?

Not wanting to continue and throwing in the towel is considered a TKO. Therefor he has been knocked out.

Ya, he didnt want to continue against a guy beating him with bricks, ill give you that. In hindsight, i cant really blame cotto. he had nothing left to give, and was taking a relentless beating by the hands of a cheater. As far as pacquiao, pac put a legit beating on him, but he was there til the end, until the referee redundantly decided to stop the fight in the last minute(s) of the last round. Kenny should have stopped the fight sooner, or let it finish ffs. But cotto has never been ko'd.

With that said, there is a huge difference between the volume punching of marg/pac and the selective punching from mayweather. Mayweather will land hard shots, may even hurt cotto here and there, might even knock him down, but he doesnt throw the volume to get cotto out of there. Cotto is a resilient fighter who will get back up and keep fighting.

Wait so Cotto new that Margarito had bricks? Don't say "he didnt want to continue against a guy beating him with bricks" because that isn't the reason. The reason is he was getting he azz handed to him. At that point he never knew Margarito was cheating so that wasn't even a factor in his decision to quit.

It doesnt matter what Kenny did or didn't do, the fact is he has 2 KO losses on his record no matter how YOU try to spin it.

I agree with what you said about Cotto being resilient and all that but who has Cotto fought since Pacquiao that would lead you to believe he won't use his "shut down and quit" mechanism again?

No matter what you think and how you try and spin. Both are and were counted as TKO's.

Does anyone besides me think it would be a huge mistake for Floyd to try and **** it out with Cotto?
