"It's easy to hate Floyd, but Floyd didn't do anything wrong in that fight," began the UFC exec.

"Then, after the fight, Merchant gets in there—this babbling, senile, insane idiot. This guy has been around for way

too long, he gets on there again and just embarrasses HBO."

"These fighters fight and he just goes in there and starts ripping them apart. Every time this guy does an interview,

if he's not babbling some incoherent babble that means nothing and had nothing to do with the fight, he's in there

    talking [expletive] about the guys.

"And then, he turns around and says, 'If I was 50 years younger, I'd kick your ass.' Hey, Larry, if you were 70 years

younger, you're not kicking Floyd's ass, okay? You babbling, senile moron.

"Dude, you're 107 years old. You have no business being on television anymore."
Lol. I love his quality comments he makes during fights. "and the fans have started to do the wave"

What are the chances that Max Kellermann will conduct the post-fight interviews that evening? 100% I would say

Damn I never knew roast beef was better than turkey.

I always figured turkey was better because there is less of it available.

Then again I grew up poor and all we ate was processed meat loaf squares.

You're quoting another guy with no education (like Floyd)? Guys like that just emote, not think when they open their mouths. Guess it's easier for you to relate to those types.

Joe Rogan would be a better boxing commentator/interviewer than Merchant at this point

I wonder if gramps has worked on his act now that he's been called an incoherent senile old man by just about everyone in the boxing world.

I mean he still makes uneducated comments (but I blame his age rather than his intelligence for this) that aren't relevant to what he's supposed to be talking about. I guess everyone at HBO has too much sympathy for him to let him go.

I hardly ever watch UFC but from the events that I have watched, Joe Rogan does a fantastic job doing the commentating and the post fight interviews. He's a smooth, crisp talker who never asks the wrong questions. He never goes out of his way to purposely anger the fighters, and best of all he never bashes the fighters. This is how it should be done. Merchant could learn a thing or two.

It's showing yourself up, that you had to display just that comment by White. Apart from exhibiting White's total ignorance and lack of respect for the most prominent and influential boxing journalist around, it shows your own lamentable ignorance in thinking that any comment by White is worth the time to read it. It seems that Merchant must have written or spoken a few "home truths" to or about White and UFC. What would anyone expect from the organizer of back alley scuffles between grown men, which makes him untold millions whilst paying the real earners peanuts.

One thing this article about Mayweather is honest about, for a miracle, is that they actually admit that they were the ones who instigated the Mayweather comment which they seemed to think was worth a complete (empty) article and headline. They are so utterly poverty stricken for real news that they resort to this trashy trick. They knew that Mayweather wouldn't resist slandering Merchant, or indeed anyone he feels doesn't love him.

That of course, doesn't include you.
