This is unthinkable. Seeing a champion like Pong get badly beaten is an almost like a torture to me. Like someone already said, his reflexes were gone. It's probably because damage had accumulated in his body. I'm sure he was able to see the punches coming, but he no longer had what it takes to evade those shots... No need to do a rematch. Pong had a great, I mean, maybe one of the greatest ring campaigns in the recent history of pro boxing. Time to hang your gloves up and start thinking about your family. Thanks for lots of great fights.

I hope this happens to Chris John next. Gets beaten by one of his cherrypicks in his own hometown

83 wins my ass, most of these were against bums and boxers without a single professional win!!! So what if he was champion for 10 years, who did he fight in that time; Naito, Miranda, Kameda, Sosa. TELL ME WHO ELSE DID HE BEAT!!??? HOF my ass, there are dozens of fighters around at the moment with MUCH better records!! Delighted!! Hope this happens to John & Strum soon!!

You can just click on the site's list in the future. That's mine. It's improved since I got a wee much carried away with Parra a few years back.

A lot of headbutts too. The crowd silence was almost eerie at the end.
Admitting to almost complete ignorance is a start. In 2009, he beat Miranda (then-future now former 112 lb. titlist); 2010 he beat Kameda (reigning champ) and Sur Rungvisai (current titlist at 15; Won also has a 2007 KO win over reigning 15 titlist Tomo Shimizu, who beat Cazares last year); and last year he beat a Sosa who'd been one of the better little men of the last ten years.
Not a single one? Or you don't know of whence you speak?
Let's flip a coin.
Wonjongkam may not have been one of the GOAT or anything, but some of the reactions in this thread are shining examples of the internet's ability to let silly off the leash.
yes pongsaklek may have padding on his record but he did pretty well ...
