You guys got it messed up.

Arum has been pocketing Pac's money for years. It is not personal, he takes everyones money because he can. If you can get 40 million for sure, 40 million you have never ever got for 1 fight, why would you insist on demanding this when you have never even came close to making this kind of money with uncle bob? How many times have you been done dirty by BOB??
Pac cant memorize what they tell him to say... I could care less if he's a congressman, he cant read a script. BOB NEEDS HIS MONEY TOO SO I CAN'T!!... is what he should say. tell the truth.

HUH? can the "fighter of the decade", the congressman, the 8 division clearing champion really go to ARUM and demand a fight with MAY? NOHe can say his son and the fans want this fight and it might be true, Pac might really want the fight too, I cant say. But at the end of the day can he go against the grain and make a fight without ARUM??? NO Can he convince his "promoter" to take less this time and make the fight, do it for the fans BOB... PLEASE? Do it for PAC and what he calls honor. He talks about honor and the fans and this and that, when he should worry about his words.
I know English is not his first language BUT you guys or someone should let him know that saying "I will fight him anytime, anywhere" doesn't mean anything when the next thing you say is "Talk to my promoter". Why dont you just tell the interviewers to talk to ARUM also since your opinion and wants dont matter.

May can't be any more clear about his demands... ALL OF THEM ARE GOING TO BE RICH REGARDLESS!!! If May bought his own contract out from BOB, then he can demand whatever he wants... he owns himself!!! just remember, fight could have happened a few years ago if one camp hadn't refused simple blood tests

except that was proven false when floyd refused to fight pac after pac agreed to the tests; which meant the tests were just a bluff the whole time. you would make a pretty terrible scientist. when confronted with new evidence which disproves your previous theories you would just ignore it or pretend it didn't happen just to further your own personal cause.

I don't think you *******s have a clue what Floyd is saying or you change the scope of your ignorant criticism and wouldn't be talking about a split, whether it is 50-50 or 60-40 or anything else. What Floyd told Bob Costas was that, when he fights, his company serves as the promter of record. As the promoter of record, he collects all the revenue from the fight, pays the fighters and the expenses and keeps the rest of the money. He has an agreement with Golden Boy to do the leg work for a flat fee and Mayweather keeps all the profit.

When Bob Arum promotes a Pacquaio fight, he pays all the expenses, pays Pac a flat fee and a small percentage of the PPV profits and keeps the rest of the money. That is what Floyd was proposing to Pac. Floyd would serve as the promoter, collect all the money and pay Pacquaio a flat fee of $40 million, plus perhaps a small percentage of the PPV revenue. Floyd would keep the rest of the money after paying the expenses. This is the same thing that De La Hoya did after he started promoting himself. Arum would get a small fee, maybe $5 to $10 million plus what he takes from Pacquaio's purse. That is why Arum refuses to make the fight. It has nothing to do with his hatred of Mayweather. It has to do with the fact that Arum is greedy and want to take 60 percent of the money for himself.

For the last four years, Pac has not had a problem being insulted by taking a $5 to 10 million salary from Bob Arum on fights against guys like Marquez, Mosley and Hatton while Arum collects $40 or $50 million in profit. Yet, when it comes to fighting Mayweather, he suddenly wants half the profits.

I would bet my life on the fact that Pac is not getting half the profits against Timothy Bradley when he is carrying the PPV by himself. Nor did he get half the profits against Marquez, Mosley, Margarito or Cotto. All he got was a salary that represented a small portion of the profits. However, against Mayweather, he suddenly wants half the profits. It won't happen and, after Bradley taxes his ass on June 9, Pac will be lucky if he made $40 million for the rest of his career, let alone in one fight.

Dude the core issue being discussed here is about the split of the massive revenue to be generated by this Mega Fight. Whatever Floyd and Manny will do to their share of the revenue is totally irrelevant as far as determining the split of the said revenue is concerned.Whether Manny gives all his share to Bob and whether Floyd takes everything leaving Oskie, Richard, Leonard and Al with no shares at all, it has absolutely no relation to the revenue split issue. Floyd and Manny being both superstars are on same footing or are co-equal as far PPV or money generating capability is concerned. It's a fact and so a 50-50 split of the revenue is fair enough.

Floyd proposed to buy-out Manny and Bob and wanted to be the sole promoter. He offered Manny 40M flat and Floyd to keep 100% of the PPV revenue.

Manny and Bob counter-proposed to buy-out Floyd's side and be the sole promoter. Bob and Manny offered 50M guaranteed purse for both of them and a 55-45 PPV revenue split for the winner.

Now if you try to look at the numbers and revenue sharing involved of both offers, who do you think is greedy? Bob? Maybe Bob for taking a huge contractual cut on Manny's share but again, again and again, this is not the issue.

Dude no matter how you deflect from the core issue here and no matter how you try to twist and spin the facts, Floyd your idol and your god is a coward and once a coward will always be a coward.

It's about the split. Floyd wants them all and then some. A front act to duck and evade the biggest threat in his O.

But the true facts is if u run the #'s, you'll see Pac has generated more! If anything Pac is being generous by demanding a 50/50 split or better yet 45/55 with the winner getting 55.
