This is the problem with you guys. Too much imagination...
you let your feelings blind you from the truth.
HE IS WITH TOP RANK and that is a fact.
Even if arum wasn't around Floyd won't fight pac. Simple as that.
In the first place, we all know, Saying that Pacquiao doesn't deserve a 50/50 split because of Arum is no different than saying Pacquiao doesn't deserve a 50/50 split because most of Pac's share will go to charity. Or saying that your boss has the right to pay you less because he doesn't like your wife!! IT MAKES NO SENSE! It doesn't matter where Pacquiao's share of the money goes. A SPLIT IN REVENUE IS SOLELY DETERMINED BY THE MARKET VALUE OF EACH FIGHTER. Where that money goes afterwards (family, charity, *******, arum, GBP, mayweather promotions, whores, etc.) does not matter!
All major sports media news outlets have NO PROBLEM with Pacquiao and Mayweather sharing the revenue of their megafight at 50/50 they think is the right way to do it. Heck even Dana white the guy that made UFC bigger than boxing thinks 50/50 split is the only way to do this super fight.
Quote: "Floyd mayweather fights for Floyd mayweather... Look at the Ali situation, if Ali could take it back.. He shouldn't have taken the fights the fans pushed him to (the ones he lost). Floyd Mayweather won't be pushed into fights he doesn't want ... Without Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather is fine."
The debate is over, floyd himself admits it.
So clear.. Now we don't have to guess how Floyd thinks. It's about self preservation. He will only fight boxers he can surely win and obvious threats like Pac (the best fighter to fight) he should stay away from After all as Floyd said this is a deadly sport. self preservation is his priority.

Floyd should better shut the **** his mouth up, than stating the the most egoistic and gayish comments ever! There should be no problem with 50-50 but he ****ed it up because he priced himself so high! I will not blame him though, he might just be reasonable because his fight with Pac might be his last expensive fight if he is anticipating much that he is likely to lose with Pac. But if he is true great and he loves it being great, then he should careless of the 50-50 offer just to prove he can beat Pac squarely. Pac offer of 45-45 and +10 for the winner is the best viable offer, and instead of Floyd countering with 40-40 and + 20 for the winner, Floyd is clinging scared of his unreasonable 60-40 offer, no more no less!

They have "NO PROBLEM" because they are not in the ring or the contract...
Heck even Dana white the guy that made UFC bigger than boxing thinks 50/50 split is the only way to do this super fight. why would he care, he makes nothing from this either way.

He should get a lawyer like Arum to make his words sound fancy like Pac, i agree

Ortiz? and obvious threats like Pac (the best fighter to fight) he should stay away from After all as Floyd said this is a deadly sport. self preservation is his priority.

We could blame Pac or we could blame Floyd for this fight not happening.I think it's time to move on. I blame Bob Arum for trying to make this ****** outdoor venue that was suppose to be an extra 40 million for the fighters. Knowing that Floyd had to turn himself in on june 1st and the venue was not going to be done until late May. Then you have Floyd not giving Pac a 50/50 split not even nothing from PPV which is dumb. Floyd is talking about he'll wire 20 million in 72 hours and will guarantee a total of 40 million which is still dumb. PPV on it's own is 150 million which Floyd wants to himself. What Floyd needs to realize is that they both need each other to make the most money in history.

we now know, Floyd only fights easy fights. History, Legacy ain't important to him. He is in it to milk fans of easy calculated low risk fights.
All you need to know the rest is irrelevant.Last edited by Spoon23; 03-03-2012, 12:49 AM.
