They're not taking the same position though, are they. Floyd wants all of the ppv, ALL of it. Manny wants around half, so how are they taking the same position?

They both are taking the "give me what I want or no fight" position the same. Floyd obviously expecting to take all the ppv money is being greedy. But isn't this the same type of structure he had when he fought ODH?

Manny is beeing just as greedy. He is expecting to go from making about $25 mil to over $75 mil. Now I'm not saying take $40 mil and no ppv, but its not unreasonable to me that he take a deal similair to what floyd took from ODH to make that fight.

I think these are GOOD comments by Floyd. It brings us CLOSURE to the situation, and no more talk about Pac-Mayweather happening should take place on these forums.

Floyd has declared to his fans that he has zero interest in taking the fight and atleast that is a confirmation instead of the charade he has put on for everyone the past 3 years about "taking the test" and "I only fight the best" and "Manny Pacquiao YOURE NEXT!"

I appreciate his statement actually,he finally put it out there that he doesnt want the fight and whether you like it or not, atleast its a decision and we can all now move on.

whether you like the comment or not, atleast its an EXPLANATION that he owed to his own fans, who wanted him to fight Pac

its no longer a deception or lie because he told us the truth as to why the fight is not happening.

Yes, that is wrong. this has been a fifty-fifty fight from the outset. floyd knew that and agreed originally but then brought the testing bs out. Now that isnt an issue the money is.

The guy doesnt want the fight, its that simple. I have been following the sport a very long time and I have never known a fighter be such a total tosser over making a fight. It makes you tear your hair out, the guy should just fight ffs. You also seem to overlook the fact that Floyd will also be getting his highest pay day. It dog poo, plain and simple.

Manny being greedy? The dude is P4P #1. he is 8 division champion, although you can argue that, but still he made that record. How about Floyd? He is consistently ranked #2 P4P, even on this site. 50/50 is FAIR. Manny is not asking the lion share of the earnings, he is asking what is FAIR. Give Cesar what is due of Cesar. But Floyd has just put that roadblock there because after Pacquiao he knows his career is going to take a dive. Floyd realizes that that might be the biggest payday of his career, and he will not make anywhere close to that when Pacquiao beat his @ss. WHich is debatable, but we will never know until they fight. But looks who's scared to lose...

c'mon dunn. pac wants 50/50 which is reasonable to most people. floyd wants 100/0. is that reasonable? is it fcuk!

SHade I've said the same thing for months now. Run the all the numbers and split the purse that way. Manny wanting 50/50 seems reasonable except for two facts:

1. Manny never gives his opponents that spli
2. Bob would NEVER let his fighetr do 50/50 if he knew his fighter was generating more.
