I don't score close rounds for fighters who keep bending over so the other guy has to hit him in the back of the head.
So I gave all the close rounds to Huck. And Povetkin was the only guy who was badly hurt in that fight -- he was saved from hitting the deck once by the ropes.
Povetkin won the fight, Huck won the event, hahaha.
True it's not pretty, it's very John Ruiz like imo but it counts in boxing. And I thought a few of the times when Povetkin looked in trouble it was because he was so off balance ducking. He probably should have held instead, it would have looked better. And I disagree, in the 11th Huck was busted up and looked ready to go and for the first half of the 12th too.
I thought Povetkin was a better boxer than this, but he gave a Marcos Maidana-Erik Morales type performance tonight and yeah he was Maidana. Disappointed in him, but not the decision I think it was fair just like that fight.

You don't know Huck very well then. Huck was not "ready to go" at any time in that fight. But Povetkin was in round seven.

You have to admit though, the right hand Huck landed in the 12th was unbelievable and had Povetkin staggering across the ring, and often Huck could set up punches as desired with Povetkin blocking with his face Rocky-style.

Aside from round 8, I had Huck winning the second half of the fight. Huck was slaughtering him, IMO. Round 12 was just annihilation of Povetkin.
