I had it 115-113 for Povetkin but the 114-114 score was pretty good IMO. I would agree with a 115-113 for either side, but I think 116-112 was a little bit too wide.

Huck won that fight over flabby Povetkin. Awful decision.

        that's cintronesque
It was putrid, more befitting a Katie Morgan special on HBO than a fight ring. If you're too out of shape to stand up, too bad.

It wasn't a robbery. There were close rounds. It was just poorly officiated to the point of distraction.

That's what made close rounds. There were some rounds where Huck got stuck in Wegner-guard and let Povetkin work, even late when Sasha was dead tired. Povetkin also took some huge shots. He fought his ass off when his head was above jock level. I liked the fight. Wrong guy won IMO but could have gone to either.

Povetkin is likely to be more allergic to the Klits now. I'll take a rematch.

It was a close fight, Povetkin throwing and landing more punches, Huck landing more flashy ones but not enough imo. And the crowd kept cheering for Huck when he would just throw hard shots but didn't land them. I noted every close round, and there were a lot, I could have saw it 117-111 for Povetkin or 115-113 for Huck there were that many. So I think the decision is fair, especially when everyone before the match were saying Saurland favored Huck.

But I remember when Wladimir Klitschko was concerned about Povetkin in the past...really he's got nothing to worry about after tonight. I'm disappointed in Povetkin, the last few rounds showed if he was busy enough he could have stopped Huck.

Huck did himself proud -- Povetkin came very close to hitting the mat a couple of times.

Povetkin's continual ducking low was a disgrace. Huck will beat him in a rematch. Chisora would stop Povetkin.

              I laughed at this

Povetkin needs to get in shape and wake up.

This. . . I had it 6-6. . . Huck definitely landed the more head snapping shots, but the awy boxing is scored you can't "carry over" that into other rounds. . . thought povetkin was busy enough to win most of the close rounds.

This has been the case for years. when your goal is to be third best in the world, and that's about it, probably hard to stay motivated.

I don't score close rounds for fighters who keep bending over so the other guy has to hit him in the back of the head.

So I gave all the close rounds to Huck. And Povetkin was the only guy who was badly hurt in that fight -- he was saved from hitting the deck once by the ropes.

Povetkin won the fight, Huck won the event, hahaha.

                      I scored 7:5 for Huck.

I think Povetkin's ducking (which Teddy developed into him) made him look very bad. Had he not ducked the impressions might have been quite different.
Povetkin used to have great stamina -- I wonder what happened to that.
