Despite it being a close fight I dont think anyone of us is going to say Huck is a better fighter if they both come in same shape.

Povetkin could have some great technique, he would show it for 5-10 seconds then get lazy and started ducking. If he loses 10 lb and comes in with a great training camp I think he will UD Huck even wider.

Huck just threw a bunch of hayemakers and got lucky, Povetkin landed more and the more consistent punches.

Wegner is as mad at the referee as you Cliff lol. But yeah he could have cautioned Povetkin some but Huck was not clean himself with rabbit shots and hitting after the bell.

I had it 6-6. . . I thought the rounds Huck won were much more decisive, but Povetkin outworked him for a lot of very close rounds. . There was definitely 2-3 rounds that could have gone either way.

Why would Atlas do that? pabon looked about as pro-Povetkin as could be.

I gave Huck 7 rounds, but a couple of those rounds could have probably gone either way. Whatever.

Referee should have done something about that rabbit punching. He was just standing there letting Huck club him in the back of the head.

i felt like huck won 7 or 8 rounds.

three were very close and could have gone either way, and i gave them mostly to huck, who was behaving a bit more like a professional and looked to be the fresher guy



povetkin was really walking the line with the way he was ducking out of the way of the punches and keeping his head down there. he could have been deducted a point for that

I had it 116-113, Huck, I just couldn't decide who to give the 8th round to.

FOr some reason though, I'm not as angry about this as I was over Campillo-Cloud last week.

But damn, I'm seriously impressed with Epix. They just provided everyone a free, quality stream for a major HW fight, when most HBO streams get shut down in minutes. They'll definitely be good for boxing LOL

I didn't think this was a robbery at all. . . way too close. . . If HUck would have been more active in those close rounds, he would have likely won them.

campillo/cloud on the other hand was just inexcusable. . . Being generous to Cloud, you could give him 4 rounds MAX.

The first hard shot after the bell was Povetkin. Huck countered it harder. Huck was as clean as could be when the dude was trying to get a good look at his shoelaces and sniff his jock all night.

Yeah. He should have told Povetkin slipping shots and trying to rub your face on your opponents cup aren't the same.
