Besides when you look at some of these fighters that are in the hall of fame now, like Terry "glass chin" Norris and Barry McGuigan, Vitali is clearly more superior than both of them.
    Most definitely.

    • Considering how many records they have broken they should be automatically placed near the top of the HOF as soon as possible, both Klitschko's.

You are talking possibly the 2 best boxers in history and asking whether or not they are HOF? LOL joke thread! sorry!

        • His trainer Fritz Sdunek says Vitali will probably announce his retirement later this week.

He says Vitali is fully focused on politics.

I wouldn't vote for him on a first ballot. He goes in on a first ballot so it likely won't matter.

I might have issues with some of the elements of his in-ring career. Out of the ring, he's an admirable dude.

                • Not a chance. Not the best HW of his era, lost to the best opponents he faced and doesn't have significant win, let alone a signature one. No, no, no.

Oh that sucks, I was expecting another fight or two this year.

At least he's retiring old and dominant with something greater than his own title to move on to.

Vitali is an ATG in and out of the ring in my book.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Coming back after 4 years and regaining a title without so much as a tuneup has never been done before by any fighter at any weight. He's a special talent and EASILY a HOF'er.
