holyfield's power is laughable in comparison to rocky's. and lewis has this bad habit of getting KOd with one punch by smaller fighters.

rocky's power and aggression and lewis' weak chin are the three factors that will decide the outcome of this fight.

Lewis has only ever lost when he has come overweight and ill prepared, when he trains and takes a task serious he is virtually unbeatable

Rocky would be out within 3 rounds on the floor, maybe even round 1, first 30 secs..

I am surprised at the amount of people thinking Lewis wins so easily. I understand that people think Lewis wins but do you really think Marciano does worse than a past prime Tyson or almost any other fighter that fought Lewis? Size does not make that big of a difference.

1- Lewis broke his hand in the Tyson fight.
2- He on purposely prolonged the beating for all the years of abuse and unfair treatment that Don King and the press gave him.. He would probably have knocked out Tyson in 3.. if he didn't prolong it or fought with a broken hand.

3- Marciano was a utter hype job and Lennox Lewis would have beaten him to death via the jab...

Agreed.

Even though I give Lewis an edge due to size, reach and ring IQ, it wouldn't be an easy fight.

The idea of a 1st or 3rd round KO is laughable in my opinion. Prime Lewis, much like Wlad now, was a very careful fighter during his prime.

There is no chance in hell he goes for the KO in the first half of the fight, especially not against a big puncher, albeit shorter, like Marciano.

I give Lewis a 60-65% to win. By TKO (if the referee is a "modern" one, more prone to stop a fight) , or UD (if we suppose the referee comes from Marciano's era).


I give Marciano 35-40% chances of cracking Lewis' jaw with a big punch.

marciano couldve only been beaten by a prime joe louis and a prime muhammad ali. he couldve bulled and KOd any other HW in history. lennox lewis is no exception.

a very hard hitter with a sturdy chin facing a hard hitting boxer with a weak chin. its not hard to predict what'll happen in this scenario.
