The idea of a 1st or 3rd round KO is laughable in my opinion. Prime Lewis, much like Wlad now, was a very careful fighter during his prime.

There is no chance in hell he goes for the KO in the first half of the fight, especially not against a big puncher, albeit shorter, like Marciano.

I give Lewis a 60-65% to win. By TKO (if the referee is a "modern" one, more prone to stop a fight) , or UD (if we suppose the referee comes from Marciano's era).

I give Marciano 35-40% chances of cracking Lewis' jaw with a big punch.

    No he wasn't.
    Prime Lewis was 95-00

Prime Wlad well..... let's say for the sake of Klittards... prime Wlad was 2008-Current (his real prime was heading into Sanders but that's another thread)

    Prime Lewis from 95-00..
knew when to be agressive and throw it all on the line... Golota-Grant-Briggs. he was by no means cautious....

It really just depend on his mood. But *** that.. let's go with the Ruddock Version of Lewis.. and he will still KO Rocky.

I know people love Marciano but let's wake the hell up.. this guy was all shadows and fogs.

Dude.. SHUT THE *** UP lol.

You only go against Lewis because you put Lennox in the same category as Floyd-Broner- and all those other American Black fighters you hate...

You are a blatant racist.. and to you Lewis just belong in the same 'group' of people that you love to hate on... despite the fact that he is nothing like them and not even American lmao.

You have ZERO idea of who Rocky Marciano is other than that he's 'not black'.

          You said it yourself,

Lewis knew when to be aggressive.

Trading with Marciano when you are way safer by keeping him at the end of your punches is hardly a good idea. You'd be giving away your reach and jab advantage.

Marciano was by no stretch a technician, but knew what punches to throw, I doubt a smart fighter like Lewis would have taken unnecessary risks.

An example. Lewis had a very, very good uppercut.
In order to throw an uppercut effectively you must have your opponent close,or on the inside even, hence you are within his reach.

If we give Lewis 50% chance to connect with his uppercut, which is a high ratio, he'd stil miss half of the times.
As we know, they teach you to throw a left hook to counter a right uppercut.

Would Lewis take the risk and take the fight there if he can keep it on the outside and outbox Marciano without much effort?. I doubt.

In all honesty, if Lewis is forced to trade for too log, or gets over aggressive (which is hard for me to imagine) , I can see Marciano sending him to sleep.

Marciano was actually 5'7. He was not 5'10. There is historical fact about this and it was proven .He weight in on fight nights around 175..

So he was a 5'7 175 guy who fought in an black and white era.
Hence people tend to over rate him.

Marciano was a good little champ in a good little era.. I give him that. but he got slow foot speed, tiny reach, and he is just not mobile enough. The thing is if he fought Lewis in the mid or late 90's.. Or in the 2000's with modern gloves and 12 rounds.. his stamina means jack shyt.. his body punching only looked so amazing because it was against a barrage of bums and because of the glove size. His true power is probably on par with Jean Pascal.

He won't even get past Lewis's jab tbh.

In reality he's a poor man's Adamek.. Tough, big heart, but ******. He will walk into Lewis's punches from the opening bell until Lennox put him to sleep.
            (Probably within 1-2 rounds)

I think a better fight for good little Rocky will be

ROcky Marciano vs David Haye.. or maybe Samuel Peter
              I'll look those up.

                rocky by KO.
I completely disagree. Lots of other fighters would have beat Marciano, including Lewis. Tyson and Foreman would have stopped him in the first. No doubt about it.

How is it that you can make good posts like this, but when you talk about Broner, you come off as a total idiot? I guess your bias or hate for Broner seriously clouds your judgment.

Rocky weighs like 188. You know that right?

His best wins are over former light weights who moved up.
