Marciano is one of the most overrated fighters in all of boxing. He has like 6 or so meaningful fights and all those other 49 are all against plumbers and cab drivers. Literally. Most of the guys he been fighting do not box as a full time job, Nobody talks about his first 40 fights but its basically no different that Chavez's first 40 fights, its bum city.

Then of his meaningful fights they are all lightheavyweights or completely shot guys.
