Pretty sure its against the rules to carry someone so your family and friends can rip off the bookies in a fixed fight.

Its like Kobe saying, Ill score 20pts in the fourth, book it.

As long as no-one's LOSING on purpose then it's fine. Massive difference between this and something like the Rojas fight, and it doesn't look like the WBC are gonna punish him for that, because let's face it, Arce is a minor deity to them and they wouldn't wanna make him look bad now, would they?

Froch is within his rights to choose when to take out his opponents, and it's a damn good bit of timing to talk about it from a cynical, marketing point of view, what with boxing big in the British media again and all. That's why he probably talked IMO.

Now you know why Brits are so keen on fighting tomato can bums. They can control the outcome and allow their jack ass acquaintances to make a couple quid.
Now we're on the topic of controlling the outcome... Do you know which country these robberies took place in?

What does judging have to do with fighters carrying opponents?

Nothing what Ali did, he made his predictions and made it well known.

Froch on the other hand gave his family and friend this info only, could have told the public something else whilst all along planning to do what he told his family.

Froch even admitted keeping the guy in their so they can win their bets.

If you bet big money on Froch to win in the 4th, you would have every right to be upset and maybe see if their is any legal recourse for you to get your money back. Especially if Froch misled the public by not saying the 5th or saying I can take the guy out anytime I want to.

If Froch did say a round other than the round he told his family then it is straight up fraud and charges should be brought.

If it is not illegal it should be, I would be going crazy, if Froch's friends and family swindled me out of some winning bets.
