The truth is that Haye was holding his left low which could have hurt him in the later rounds....
and Chisora kind of did a Victor Ortiz.

Don't see how David Haye is at fault in this, other than being rude at a press conference.
Yeah but that won't stand up to Dirk even if I did this!

      Look Dirk Look!!!!!!!

So if that is the case then why the *** didn't vitali counter chisora's slap?

Vitali is a world champ and i assume is more accomplished than you? He should have countered chisora by your logic, he should have made chisora miss and then come back wig a straight punch?

If you tell a man you want to beat him up which he said a week a go, and walk up to him, protect yourself at all times.

It's a street fight, chisora said he will find haye on the street and beat him up days a go. He found haye and lost four in a row.

You don't say ok let's get ready to punch each other and no low blows and ****. Anything goes. Chisora is use to beating women up and slapping and spitting on polite Europeans.

Run your mouth and get punched and be forced to sit down on the floor.
        you are really quite ******.
when VK and Chisora were that close it would be impossible to see the slap coming, and VK has been in that position many many times throughout his career and is used to just keeping calm. he had no reason to expect it.

haye- IF he actually believed chisora was there to start some violence WAS THEREFORE FULLY ALERT to any perceived threat. given these circumstances he should also have put down the bottle and bottle opener. NO EXCUSES. haye was ready, haye was waiting. chisora obviously wasn't.

The only thing Haye did wrong was the tripod attack.

well actually haye WOULD be able to argue self defence. Chisora had stated verbal intent to slap him and had done the same thing to somebody else the night before, so haye could easily argue he believed he was in danger of similiar treatment. On top of that in assault cases it is the person who first laid hands on the other (not necessarily the person that threw the first punch) that is viewed to be the agressor. Its clear that though haye threw the first punch Chisora had first put his fist to haye's chin. Anyway anybody here who says if they were in Haye's shoes and somebody like chisora came rumbling down to them like that that they wouldn't ...

              1. Run
              or
              2. hit him before he slaps/spits on you is either a liar, a hater, or a fool.

All I gotta say is chisora v haye is a fight I'd pay to see. One pre madonna and one nutjob beating the lard out of eachother in a big time grudge match. i can only imagine how good the weigh in for that one would be.

WTF...this is so fucking wrong...Vitali was allowed to choose an opponent after fighting mandatory Adamek. Go back to welterweight.

Chisora walked clear across the room up in Haye's face asking for what he got. It was a nice sells job...they should both get an advertising award or something like that. Fight's on.

Throwing a left hook then smashing a bottle in someone`s face when they walk up to you isn`t self defense.

If someone comes anywhere near me trying to get my respect I throw a hard one-two to the jaw putting as much body-weight as possible into it. If you don't they can get theirs off first.
