In the article Robert said, "Brandon's been in the ring with faster fighters..." Who?
We don't know what Gamboa will look like at 135, but it's very likely that he'll be the fastest, most athletic guy Rios has ever faced.Comment

And you know Rios is the more determined, because? I had never seen Gamboa back down from anyone, do you?Comment

You hasn't seen Gamboas fights, he never gets tired and actually KO Salido in the last round, just say that you will go with Rios and that's it, don't bs us with things that are only in your mind...Yes gamboa is the faster guy, even the better boxer, but that means jack. We all know that after 5 rounds Gamboa slows down, loses power and ties up a lot and thats exactly where Rios is most dangerous at close quarters. Rios wins by late stoppage. Great fight though.Comment

Gamboa did not KO Salido. Yes, Yuri knocked Orlando down twice in the twelfth round, but I wouldn't say that Salido was out of it. Gamboa hit "Siri" in the back of the head while he was down, prompting referee Joe Cortez to deduct two points. You might argue that Salido was saved by the breather he got from deduction, but it's just as possible that Orlando would've finished the fight on his feet. We'll never know. One thing is certain: Yuri was lucky he wasn't disqualified. That foul was blatant, even dumb.Comment

I haven't been this excited for a non-ppv fight in a long time.
last one was Donaire-Montiel i think...
nonetheless imo, this is a pick-em fight. thats why i usually bet on these fights to make em more interesting but i'm not even confident enough to pick it's a toss up in my book... on one hand Gamboa will obviously be the quicker dude, but Rios should have an emphatic strength advantage with Gamboa moving up and all... this gonna be a fun scrap i can't waitComment

Gamboa will step in the ring confidently with a big smile in his face. He'll come out strong in the first rounds and able to unleash his combinations and would make Rios lose his balance every now and then. Halfway into the fight Gamboa will show signs of frustration. Rios will come onto him non-stop and force him to fight in the inside with his body shots and uppercuts... Gamboa needs a lot of stamina in this fight.
Gamboa will lose this fight and would want a rematch. I would agree. It would be one of the most entertaining fights this year.

Salido was out, and if he could got up from the second knockdown, I'm pretty sure Gamboa would put him down again (it was alot of time left) and the ref would had stopped the fight, his own ******ity prevent him, IMO, to have that KO on his resume, now you see it different and I respect your opinion, but I disagreed.Gamboa did not KO Salido.
