No matter what you say, Manny refused to fight Cotto at anything above 148. Given that he already destoyed Miguel at 145 there shouldn't be a problem.

I get you love Manny but there is no justifying this. It isn't floyd, calling him names, etc etc. Miguel is an honorable champion who defended his 147 lb title at 145 lbs when he fough Manny the 1st time. If manny is as honorable and cares about the sport and the fans as much as you say he does, the right thing to do is fight him at Cotto's weight this time around.

No way to spin or justify manny's refusal to have a fair fight.

Do you know what Diuretics are lol .

Margo would not accept 150 for Cotto , I guess he is not the only one to sacrifice his body for Pac .

Your a fool kid that dont know **** about what your talking , stick to your Dreamboat full of fanboys and confetti , because your going to end up in a shipwreck , and you already know how foolish you look when that happens !

Bradley is definitely a live dog and a good test for Pac. The closer the fight gets the more my blood will start boiling.

We all know Pac's walk around weight is 150-155. Bradley is 160.

Just means Bradley is naturally bigger than pac. This is a good match can't wait.

Fighting Foreman, Mayorga and Margarito doesn't justify that Cotto can beat Floyd or Pac at any weight.

Floyd vs Canelo, Martinez would have been a better fight.

I agree with you on Martinez but Canelo?

IMHO Cotto is 3rd best choice for Floyd behind only to Pac & Martinez...

Well that's my opinion. Canelo is tougher fighter for Floyd than Cotto at this moment.

                  Riight.

Props for Bradley for taking on Abregu, Alexander and Casamayor.

No props for Pacquiao for taking on huge Clottey, Margarito and Mosley.

Riight. Fans have really become ****** nowadays.

                    LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL .....

So the fact that Pacquiao's first 40 fights were against local club fighters makes his resume better?

LOL .. you are a special kind of clown.

Margarito wasn't a champion, a fighter ranked in the top 3, or even a fighter that fans saw as a threat since being KO'd by Mosley by the time he fought Pacquiao.

This is the problem with *******s: They think that name recognition = challenge.

Just because a man has a name that was AT ONE TIME associated with success doesn't mean that he is forever a champion, challenge or even a test if he can no longer win like he USED TO.

Idiots like Hugh Grant cling to the idea that a man is the same man no matter how badly he loses.

                    Hugh Grant believes that:

Fighting DLH@ 170lbs & fighting DLH@145lbs are the same thing!

Fighting Hatton when he was confident and undefeated is the same as fighting Hatton AFTER he was knocked out for the first time in his career.

Fighting Cotto when he was undefeated is the same as targeting him AFTER his bloody and brutal beatdown.

Fighting Clottey is even worth mentioning as Clottey has NEVER beaten a champion.

Fighting Margarito when he was ranked #1 and coming off a savage KO over Cotto is the same as fighting Margarito after he was KTFO and left helpless by Mosley.

Fighting Mosley when he was the #1WW is the same as fighting Mosley AFTER he was thoroughly dominated by Floyd and got a draw against Mora.

You see .. Pacquiao's success is in the fact that he has convinced the masses that fighting a 5th ranked fighter is the same as fighter a 1st or 2nd ranked fighter. It can't be from his first 40 fights because I cannot stress enough that they were all local journeymen. It can't be because he's unbeatable because he's been KTFO twice and outboxed by Morales and JMM.

Manny's fanbase is mostly morons, and those who aren't morons are the ones who are just happy to see an Asian doing well.

I'm not mad at that, but to embellish Manny's accomplishments in a way that makes him seem like more than he is actually is shows an incredible amount of desperation.

Its just as bad as some on this site saying that Jeremy Lin has surpassed Michael Jordan. Its a desperate ploy for immediate recognition that has NOT been earned by the same standard, but that's what they do.

They look for ways to "enhance" the perception of any Asian athlete to make them seem like ATG candidates from the very beginning. I actually love watching Lin, but trying to make him out to be great by making comparisons to those who are actually great just further illustrates the cycle.

Why is it sad? Only non-boxingfan/haters think fighting on catchweight is bad. Catchweight is a way for a big fighter to fight a small fighter if the fans wants it. To make things fair......there are a lot of fights in history that would not have happened if there was no catchweight.
