Guerrero, Marquez, Rios, Linares, would all have had a chance to beat him. And not to mention that Gamboa may be moving to LW for his next fight, and Broner is right there at 130.

It's too bad he was crazy and murdered his wife, along with himself.

Valero would have had big fights against a ton of people and a good shot to make himself an ATG. Had a bit of the Duran mystique going, though we never got to see what he could have been in the end.

Marquez, Rios, Linares, Guerrero, Broner, Gamboa, Burns, would have all been good fights at 135. He probably would have moved up to 140-147 eventually in his career, where he could have fought Khan, Bradley, Garcia, Paris, etc.

    Oh well.

Actually Valero's best win was against Vincente Mosquera(his first title fight at 130)

the best i ever saw him look was the stuff of him in the gym and sparring
I feel you on the comparison brother. I think the same way, only Valero was more "stationary" than Manny.

I was actually just thinking about what could have been for Valero just last week while i was working.

          Weren't we talking Lightweight???

And DeMarco beating Linares is better than Mosquera beating Nanthachai, to me at least.

            it's definitely demarco

look at what demarco has done since. you saw what he did to linares.
he's a bigger and very bad dude.

mosquera doesnt have a win like linares anywhere on his resume
