Manny Stewart's comments during JMM vs Pac

He couldn't come forward PERIOD. The reason that JMM has given Pac such a difficult time is because he doesn't come forward with him. Doing so in any way would go against the basic strategy that has been so successful for him.

The second he attempts to come forward , whether being defensive or not, Manny is destroying him.

I don't think most of you know how incredibly hard it is for a fighter like JMM who has no business at that weight, has no physical advantages on Manny and is literally dancing on the ledge of a 100 story building when he fights Manny because one false move and he's asleep.
The very notion that JMM went 12 rounds with Manny 3 times and in the opinion of many won 2 out of 3 and then went 12 rounds with Mayweather is simply amazing.

I used to rank the 3 great LW of Mexico like this: #1 Barrera, #2 Morales and #3 JMM. Now it's easy to see JMM is the greatest of those 3. We might never see another trio of fighters like them ever, the way we got to see Leonard, Hearns and Hagler here in the U.S.

Well, he did 100 times better than Clottey who is a physical beast and a big welterweight.

But I'm not buying the JMM is smaller than Pac bs, JMM has a longer reach, he's slightly taller and was heavier on fight night, Pacquiao isn't a WW, dude can still make 140 easy, maybe 135 who knows...

Last time. I simply said what compubox was, it isn't fact based, period. I also never said Pacman didn't land like you claimed. I said Marquez landed more clean effective blows. Marquez's face being messed up doesn't mean Pacman landed more, it means he's the bigger puncher.

I always ranked JMM as #1 of the trio. They were all great during their times but JMM has had the most success and has fought at much higher skill levels, as well as weights.

The tards and the tards sympathizers rank Erik and Barrera as higher because they have that Manny Agenda. They will always them to be greater than JMM because Manny beat them without too much trouble (besides getting beat by the last bit of Morales prime that was left). True PAC cares to much about tryin to please the crowd. Can't blame him though he has like his whole county on his back. With guys like Floyd they fight for the money first before the fans so they can careless what the fans think.

Clottey didn't do well because he isn't an offensive fighter and he chose to shell up in that fight.

Manny is bigger than JMM, there's no doubt about that. Height isn't the end all be all of determining size, two fighters can be similar in size but their FRAME is what makes that difference.

Pac has taken on the extra weight much better than JMM. If you look at JMM in his last fight with Manny, the man looked like a body builder to make that weight, that's not something boxers want to do or is beneficial for them.

Look at the size of Manny's head and hands compared to JMM. He without a doubt is the bigger man. It's not even close.

Anyway this is my point. In the last two rounds of that fight, everyone saw it as a close fight (except Letterman but what's new) and Manny Stewart said that JMM should go on the attack to win the fight, here's my HUGE problem with that.

If you line up Pac and JMM side by side and list their PHYSICAL attributes only, there's not one category where JMM wins......ZERO. Pac is faster, quicker, bigger, stronger, takes a better punch, hits harder than JMM. He is also an excellent counter puncher as well, something a lot of fans don't give Pac credit for.

So if JMM comes forward, isn't that the completely WRONG tactical thing to do because that will put you in danger of getting knocked down or possibly knocked out? See when Manny comes forward, he has the speed to avoid a lot of JMM counter shots but it wouldn't be the same in reverse.

So how the *** could Manny Stewart, a veteran of the sport and HOF trainer be asking for JMM to come forward and attack when that is the exact thing he should NEVER be doing vs a fighter like Pac?

HBO announcers appear to have marching orders from above to sell PAc and make him seem extraordinary no matter what. They need to keep him as a legit threat to Mayweather which keeps that fight big and keeps Manny's mismatches sellable.
