    FYI - I have seen what many pressure fighters have done to latteral movement type fighters. Goes both ways...you may learn that some day.

      I really like Cloud. I think him and BHop would be a great fight. I actually like him to beat BHop. Hopefully Tavoris gets some good HBO exsposure this year or, he somehow gets Ward to move up and fights him.

        Agree. For some reason I think Linares v De Marco when I see it on paper. Very dangerous fight, Campillo could present trouble to Cloud especially if it's dragged late.

          I don't think Hopkins can beat Cloud at his age. He's too old for a guy like him. Young BHop takes him out, np!

            Pascal is a pressure fighter???????

            He fights NOTHING like Cloud. Pascal stays on the outside and just springs forward every now and then and gets his shots off then goes back again.

            Cloud is a pressure fighter. Totally different.

            And how is the Mack fight a bad example? Mack is a C level fighter and his movement, his lateral movement, gave Cloud problems. Cloud always wants to shine, he wants to brutally KO his opponent no matter who it is. Check the scorecards at the time of the KO when Mack got caught. The fight was super close and in fact lots of people had Mack winning and outboxing cloud.

            This a simple example of how "styles make fights."

            Movement, especially lateral movement = bad for Cloud.

            Hopkins = great lateral movement.

            Maybe Cloud eventually catches hopkins and knocks him out, who knows, but it's silly to say Cloud is going to throw 1,000 punches and it will be a walk in the park. You simply cannot throw that many punches against Hopkins if you're a simple pressure fighter.

              Styles make fights...Capillo has an unusual style. Just like this scenario is possible. Pascal beats Dawson, loses to Hopkins, Cloud beats Hokins, Dawson beats Cloud. Anything can happen. Old fighters can win when they are allowed to set the pace. But a pressure fighter can make an old fighter's legs get old in the cource of a fight.

                Name one that worked well against Hopkins. Just one.

                  So many opportunities for Hopkins counters considering also that Cloud cares nothing for defense it seems, I could even see a late TKO for Bernard or corner stoppage.

                    The days of Bernard stoppages are over, especially at the top of the division.

                    If that were the case he would of at least knocked out Rico Suave 2 years ago

                      Me too, cloud applies his pressure the correct way. He steps into a retrieting fighters path & cuts him off. The Paclik comparo is simply horrible. Pavlik follows in straight lines. He couldn't even pressure the smaller Martinez.

                      The style matchup, constant pressure & body attack will beat an aging B-Hop & Dawson who loves to bend at the waist & give away his height under pressure & has a shady gas tank.
