ИATAS206 - once again you missed the point. Fights are not fought on paper. And your Rico example totally misses the point. Triangle theories prove that your Rico example fails. If you were not so new to boxing you would realize that pressure fighters ALSO beat movement!!!! History is littered with this!! That is why some fighters cut the ring off, use in-fighting, and stop movement with body punches. That is why the fight could go either way!!!

Hell, even ONE of these two can get caught, have an off night, get old, not get in synch with their gameplan...that is why EITHER guy's plan can work for him on a given night.

I'm not including an off night or anything like that in my analysis or prediction (I never said I'm psychic this is my opinion and my breakdown of a potential fight). Like I previously said if hopkins age catches up to him he's done.

What I'm going on are past fights, not just one fight, their entire careers and their tendencies, strengths & weaknesses .

Cloud is tailormade for Hopkins. If you can't box, don't bother thinking that you can beat Hopkins...not even an older Hopkins. You won't bomb him out of there even at his ripe old age.

NEVER go by just tendancies, strengths, weaknesses and then be so one-sided in a pick because either man's style can work on a given night and strengths can fail, you should know that by now. Being OBJECTIVE means looking at 2-3 scenarios or more that could unfold, not including a possible draw.

Look man, I gamble on fights all the time and I'm successful at it. I'm not saying I'm a high roller or anything like that it's just for fun. But I almost always win. Naturally there are some freak things that happen that we have no control over and that's boxing, like I put money on Lara to beat Williams cause I know Williams can't fight a southpaw if his life depended on it but robberies happen. ANYTHING can happen in boxing, I get that. A guy can slip and get caught and KO'd. A a guy can get old overnight, etc. But my money is on hopkins as imo there is a very high chance that Hopkins beats Cloud, based on styles and past fights.

To me it would be silly to say 'well maybe cotto will implement HIS GAMEPLAN on that one night against Floyd and beat him!" That's not very smart thinking imo.

Cloud's pressure too much for Bhop? I dunno, I've seen this 'pressure fighter theory' proven wrong so many times especially vs the Executioner. However, As repetitive as this may sound, I did get a glimpse of father time creeping on Bhop during the recent circus show vs Dawson.

I saw it in the Calzaghe fight.....Ex has been wearing a mask for years now....been dropped in one fight...badly hurt a couple of times in the next....tick tick tick....so I'm not so hyped up about him fighting on....I feel like he can show up looking like doo doo any night now.....so like I said, he's been masking his fight with father time for a few years now....Cloud is the type of fighter B.Hp feasts on..destroys....take their souls and so forth...but given the amount of sand left Ex's hourglass, Cloud might can do a lil' something....who knows?!?...he MIGHT...just MIGHT...be able to turn up the heat and dry out the fountain of youth Ex been sippin' from....right now, my dude is on his victory lap...just hope one of these young lions don't trip him up and make him fall on his face...thats my only wish for Ex atm
