Is it conceivable that Arum would pay a fighter to lose?

Let's use some common sense here.
First of all, the commission picks the judges and even at that, for big title fights, those judges are usually the best in the business. They have a rep to maintain and why risk it by turning in a ridiculous score card. Guys like Dave Moretti, Duane Ford and others are pretty accurate in there scoring.
Also If I'm an underdog, why not take the money, beat the guy anyway and get more money in the rematch. People don't understand what it takes to get to the top for most of these contenders, and shots at big names are once in a lifetime opportunity. What sense does it make to blow an opportunity like that when if you win, it can be career changing.
When Marquez got a draw against Manny, his career was completely changed and he became a big name in the sport. Look at what Martinez win over Pavlik then....hell look at Pacs win over Barrera.
It just takes one fight, to shoot to the top, so I doubt any amount of money would make a fighter blow an opportunity especially considering the long term affects a win would have.Comment

If I had to pick anyone it would be GBP who are the ones fixing fights.
I haven't seen any top Rank judging robberies, but a lot of GBP ones.
Casa vs Santa Cruz
Diaz vs Malignnagi
Funeka vs Guzman
and the list goes on and on.
however one of there guys Lara was robbed blind against goosen fighter WilliamsComment

getting that shot on the contingency that you are to fight gamely but not enough to win, be paid more than expected because of the agreement, decide to go against that, beat the guy, and essentially get no more fights on the horizon?
happens a lot more than people think
or take the fight, lose gamely then have that same promoter use you continouslyComment
