I could have been a great heavyweight but I spent too much time on the internet.
All New Zealand HW boxers are in rugby....

Who in their right mind would watch american football? I'ts boring as ****. Obviously americans watch it since they are **** at real football and have to console themselves somehow, but that's about it. You can keep your **** sport, as well as your excuses to yourselves.Comment

shavers
foreman
tyson
in my wanderings around boxing that's generally the top three in no order. for me it's foreman
shavers gets lots of credit because he fought ali and holmes, ali fought foreman and holmes fought tyson, and they both said he was the hardest puncher they ever fought
below them (and again, this is only consensus, but my opinion wouldnt probably be that far away if i hashed them out,)
liston
tua
lewis
wladimir
etc
if you asked me the hardest punchers these are who i'd list (again, all out of order, but in a tier,)
if you ask me who the best punchers are, or who the greatest punchers are at HW, i put joe louis on top of the list
and then i hash out the rest
louis was a perfectly boiled down killing machine. he was a surgical puncher who threw combinations. he rendered dudes completely senseless, like all of the larger out outright harder punchers, but he's also credited as one of the craftiest offensive fighters of all time (he and robinson generally share that distinction,)
he would set you up and take your head off with the perfect punch
he broke max schmelling's friggin back with a right hand to the side. scary stuffLast edited by New England; 02-10-2012, 06:09 PM.Comment
