    Righteously/Rightfully/justifiably so.
forgive my ignorance but who were these? in his record i can't see anyone i could imagine to have been close to being in the top ten p4p.

    • I think if a Rigondeaux vs Donaire matchup happens, Rigondeaux would give Donaire a lot of problems. Might be a stinker of a fight though, Donaire I think gets a little tentative when he's made to think in the ring. Donaire's a reactive fighter IMO, he reacts before he thinks, when he's made to think he doesn't react as quick.

      • of course they don't want that match up, they love Donaire and will do all they can to protect him so they can continue to try and build him up

I agree that he needs to pay some dues, but "El Chacal's" circumstances are as special as he is. You can’t reasonably ask that he take the same road as everyone else.
and as sad is this is to say my friend all of that means nothing now that he is a pro

in the end what he does as a pro is what should matter going forward.

in all honesty he should get right back in the ring instead of chasing ghosts and complaining

what means something is that Rigondeaux is ranked #2 in the division & is a title holder.

If donaire wants to be the best at 122 he's going to need to fight Nishioka or Rigondeaux or both.

                they do? in what manner?

considering it took Andre Warrd 5 years to even get a title shot I would say that's a bit off

                but please enlighten me

not sure what this had to do with my original statement but okay

it seems to me that Donaire is going the same route Mayweather did when he opted to make himself as big of a star as possible by fighting the right opponents (maybe not the best) in order for him to get the most crossover appeal

when Mayweather took this route he got a lot of flack over it fighting the likes of DLH Judah etc but in the end he became a cross over star

to a much smaller scale I think it's the same route TR and Donaire are looking at. After this he will probably take on Arce and then he has often said he would like to fight in Japan so I am guessing a Nishioka fight by the end of the year

                  • rigondeaux should stop acting like donaire is his only option. he can fight other guys at his division. if donaire has other plans rigo can't do anything about it. just move on...besides donaire just moved up to 122 and he's not even the no. 1.

nishioka is the no. 1 and that's the best fight to chase. don't know why rigo is not going after nishioka?
