Rigo isn't asking for anything to be "handed to him on a platter." He's not some kid with a few pro fights under his belt and a whole lot of hype. Guillermo fought over 400 amateur fights and earned two Olympic gold medals. He's in his early thirties and, until now, has been deprived of a professional career by a vile Cuban dictatorship. I agree that he needs to pay some dues, but "El Chacal's" circumstances are as special as he is. You can’t reasonably ask that he take the same road as everyone else.

Simple Forumula: All Rigo has to do is have 2-3 fights where he steps on the gas and takes out some fighters or dominates them in exciting fashion and the masses will demand a Donaire-Rigo fight. There is someone else on this planet for Rigo to fight, right?
