Lol Rigo would outbox Donaire easily, if Vazquez and Narvaez were able to slip and block Donaires punches then Rigo is going to have a field day.
Donaire likes to say he is this all action type of fighter, but the truth is he cant really adjust he himself is a counter-puncher, so he expects everyone to fall into his game and pretty much let the KO come. If Vazquez was more seasoned especially with an amateur background or a longer professional career this fight might have been even closer. Donaire has a very powerful left hook, but at 122 it didnt seem to have the same affect as the lower divisions. I like Donaire im not trashing him because I enjoy watching him fight, but hes not going to be the next Pacquiao, and hes not a top 5 P4P to me.
At 122 Donaire is no longer able to bully people around, and im pretty sure Rigo will have a good game plan and put in a lot of body work to slow Nonito down. If Vazquez and Narvaez could last twelve im pretty sure Rigo aint too worried. People say he needs to make a name for himself well what better way? He is willing to unify, and fight one of the top names in the sport, something not alot of boxers are willing to do these days. I dont know who people want Rigo to fight to prove himself but there isnt many others at 122 to do so. N'dou? Nishioka? N'dou would be an easy belt for either to pick up but Nishioka would give Donaire problems thats for sure I doubt Rigo would go to Japan to fight Nishioka as well.

I didn't lable him anything, just a good fighter and Nonito's toughest foe at 122 for sure.
Ramos didn't want to fight after the first round when Rigo hurt him and knocked him down. Rigo could have and should have got him out of there in the 3rd.
Why don't you want Nonito to fight Rigo???????????? That's the million dollar question that should be asked to his fans.

i know about rigo's amateur career and gold medals but this aint the amateurs and he only has 9 pro fights. he needs to get back in the ring as soon as possible and keep his momentum going. right now no one owe him anything

Rigondeaux has been spoiled if anything. Who in boxing gets a title shot after 8 fights? That type of stuff only happens in MMA.
Rigondeaux is a great boxer but Im tired of all the people massaging his balls after he beat a mental midget, B class fighter. Would Rigondeaux pose a big challenge to Donaire? No doubt.
But as of right now he only has 9 fights. Its hard to market a fight against the guy when NOBODY knows who he is. He needs to stop whining and start padding his record.
People say Nonito is ducking for calling out Nishioka? Does that even make sense? How can you be ducking someone when he is calling out the BEST guy in the division?
