i can complain. whatever way you want to cut it, its 2nd best.I know we want these 2 to fight.but it aint going to happen.move on
now what we have in front of us is.Manny versus Bradley who is undefeated and a proven champion, young and confident..good fight cant wait to watch
Floyd-Cotto-fight everyone begged for now here it is in front of you.Cotto is a champ and rated#1 at 154..Floyds moving up to fight him no catchweight..
true even i wanted manny -floyd but atleast we didnt get 2 bull**** opponents..we got 2 worthy champions..2 fresh new fights..so lets enjoy cause these fights will be damn good neither bradley nor cotto are coming to lose, both have pride and will be there to win.............Comment

There's plenty of guys likely to be moving up soon. And they all make more sense to me for Floyd and Pac than anyone other than Martinez at 154.Because 147 is cleaned out. If they're not fighting each other, there are tons of challenges there for them.
Who are they suppose to fight?
1. Jones
2. Berto
3. Sechenco
4. Mosley
5. Maidana
Unless someone comes up from 140 and meets them at 147, WW is done. They finished it.
I say move on to bigger and better challenges.Comment

LOL @ people saying Pac can't put on an extra 7 pounds and still be effective.
Pac put on like 12 pounds in a little over a year. Now all of a sudden people are skeptical on how much weight he can put on and be effective?
It would be one thing if Pac was a bloated WW like Marquez, but he's ripped. He can make the extra 4 pounds easy.
Pac doesn't know what he takes, remember. He can make 154 easy with Ariza

So Pac is good enough to fight the best 154lb'er (Martinez), but you're saying he's too small to fight anyone else at 154, but should resort to fighting smaller guys moving up from 135/140?
That's some kind of logic you have there.Comment

He can't even make 147 for a fight at 150. He probably barely weighs 150 on fight night. He's in his 7th division. It's f***ing ******ed to ask "Why can't he put on 7 pounds and be effective?" I don't know, because he is at his limit? For f***'s sake, 7 divisions isn't enough?LOL @ people saying Pac can't put on an extra 7 pounds and still be effective.

Pac also never put on 12 pounds in a year. I don't know what you are talking about there. That's a pretty ludicrous number to claim.
Martinez is the only fighter at 154 worth the risk of moving up again, for Pac or Floyd IMO. None of those other fighters do jack sh** for Pac or Floyd. Pac is a small dude. He's the exact same size, if not smaller, than those guys at 140. It's perfect for him if he and Floyd are going to keep ducking each other.
Again, Pac and Floyd campaigning at 154 is not something people should be expecting or criticizing them for not doing. If there is a fight there they feel like taking, fine. If not, it's ****** to hold it against them.Comment
