He blamed Al Haymon...For what exactly? Is Martinez an Haymon fighter? Is Piror? That's no facts behind blaming Haymon. And, it makes zero sense to blame Haymon. Like I said just cuz' Gabe said it doesn't make it accurate. And, we should know how folks from Maxboxing feel about Haymon. From Gabe to Kim. Yea fight doesn't happen here, a fight doesn't happen their lets blame the black man with the influence who has nothing to do with the situation.

its not a parallel. its the simple truth. sometimes u gotta fight on ****ty cards, on lesser networks to make it to the top. its simple. for pirog nad anyone else. i mean i can sow u streams of floyd fighting on espn too. the point is he had to earn his spot. yes hbo wasnt/isnt interested. but neither was showtime. that isnt coincidence. meanwhile u have sillakah fighting on espn making waves but pirog is too good for that? smh.

Paper title owner or not. Pirog is no more deserving of a shot @ Martinez than Macklin. Fact of the matter is, Macklin's "loss" to Sturm is better than anything Pirog's done in his entire career. And if Pirog really is earning Million+ dollar purses for fighting tomato cans in Russia, i'm sure HBO wouldn't even be able to afford to put up the dough it would take to get a fight done with Martinez.

Why doesn't Pirog work to build up his name & resume by sewing up the European Middleweight scene and fighting the other highly ranked opponents in his division that are NON paper trinket holders? What's his excuse for not fighting guys like Proksa & Golovkin? I'm sure they would be more than thrilled to recieve a shot at his little paper trinket, or is he claiming they're ducking him as well?

That has nothing to do with Martinez-Pirog. Plenty of Haymon fighters have lost and didn't get "blacklisted" from Arreola to Bika to Berto.

There is no involvement between Martinez-Pirog. The fight didn't happen cuz' flat out Dibella doesn't want to make the fight. Dibella straight up told me too. That's how I know the fight will not happen. But, because of that, this "conspiracy theories" needs to be invented that Haymon has something to do with this.

It's unfortunate, but Pirog needs to just keep fighting and keep winning, and keep trying to make whatever fights he can. Eventually someone will fight him, and he will need to take advantage of that when it happens.

Likely, the "Pirog is a paper champion who only wants to fight bums" thing will lead to him getting "cherry picked" by someone thinking he's an easy win. That's how it usually happens with non-American fighters.

he should've done that in the beginning of his career or after not getting another date on hbo. he fought who he fought after getting the title though, that's really no ones fault but his own. if he would've fought some known names (not even the top ones), he'd be a bit more known and have a bit more pressure on the current champs to fight him. it's like everyone in the MW division doesn't stick out. they need to start fighting each other and eventually the title shots or unification shots will come their way. that goes for pirog, quillin, n'jikam, golvokin and any other undefeated/top contender.
it's sad too cause a lot of those guys got serious talent and potential to be great fighters. hopefully it happens this year (all the good possible matchups). pirog should not retire though, at least if no title shot happens this year. he has some good top contenders he can face that are actually way better than the current champs he's trying to unify with (talent-wise). hopefully we see pirog against a top MW soon.

pirog got lucky when he got vacant title shot against green daniel jacobs , al haymon's protege and knocked him out . Instead of hiding in russia he'd rather come to us and try to get a fight . there are lots of boxers who will fight and beat him , golovkin , vanes martirosyan among them .

This. Lara called him out. That can't be that hard a fight to make and it's exposure. It's better than Jacobs or either foe since.
