You need a big ticket seller on the undercard.

      Maybe Khan and Morales?

You're the 1st person I've ever seen admit to be a "casual" boxing fan. However, to take the time and post lucid comments on a channel like B-Scene (versus the micky mouse forums like ESPN et al) makes you a die-hard in my book. Large Hispanic pop in Dallas/FW area so JMM should do well, but I think 40k is a big stretch. Jerry Jones probably gave Arum some kind of corporate buy assurance similar to how they do it in the NFL to avoid blackout games...and then turn around thousands of these tickets for less than $50 a pop to artificially increase attendance. Still 40k seems to be a pipe dream unless that undercard is LOADED.

Only JCC JR can sell out Cowboys Stadium.

But even at that your paying $75 plus for parking.

Real boxing fans won't pay for this fight? Marquez is not popular? This only shows what boxing is all about, people pay to see overrated clowns with big mouths but who " sell " tickets. WWF has more credibility.

Yep. Technical boxing alone won't make for an entertaining fight. Like all sports, it's business. Boxers nowadays can't just counterpunch their way to victories and expect to draw large crowds. You'll end up waiting for come-forward opponents to make you look good. You have to make it happen.

                ;-)

40,000? In Cowboy's Stadium? Certainly they will still construct their 40,000 seat stadium on the strip, right? I understand that Marquez may not want to fight in Vegas after the last decision, but why wouldn't Pacquiao-Bradley take place in this 'Outdoor Stadium' on the strip? Why wouldn't they move forward with the construction of this "Stadium (Equipped with A Bubble)" to house the Pacquiao-Bradley PPV Extravaganza??? Why wouldn't they show the earning potential of this 'Outdoor Stadium' for the 'November Bout with Floyd'? Why would they settle for the MGM Grand? An arean that can't accomidate the capacity for a Manny Pacquiao PPV Extravaganza??? Why not go forward with the construction? I know why...Because it was ALL 1 BIG FAT LIE! One that came from a DISGUSTING FAT PIG.
