Tony had what a 5" height, 6" reach and 15 - 20 lbs on him come fight night and it wasn't fair for Tony? This is too much!! I say both Pac's and Mayweather's catchweights are a little sketchy, I'm consistent in my view and not a hypocrite like you.

Work it all out its not really that hard if you look at all that happened leading up to , during , and after the fact , as they say hindsight is 20/20 vision .
So catchweights do hurt the opponent, Mayweather is trying to hurt and drain Canelo like Pac did to Cotto. Do you agree??

Thats all very nice, but it has actually been proven repeatedly over 21 pages that you havent got a clue about boxing, let alone 'boxing mechanics' or 'boxing under the hood' or some other crap car analogy. You just press on regardless in the hope that someone, probably another weirdo like STAX will come in and agree with you. Is it not telling that that isnt happening in this thread? Is their not a point when the penny drops and you realise that this thread and these arguments of yours were a really bad idea?

I will say it slow , Tony needed diuretics to make weight , go find out what that means , it doesnt matter how much you outweigh an opponent if you are weight drained from training to make weigh-in weight , training to make weight is not the same as training to win , Canelo may very well fall into this when he begins training for the fight , we dont know until fight time when we can see the fight and if anything has surfaced in the meantime like diuretics or IV fluid infusions .

So No CWs dont hurt everybody only some , it depends on who and what weight they must make at the time , the individual circumstance rule the day .

I dont get how you guys are so rigid on a word , its like life is not like that but you guys just wrap up everything as the same deal , its not , each CW has its own set of dynamics bound by the individual fighter , that should be common sense but its obvious thats lacking here in kidsville .

Here's my two-cents on the TS:

“Never argue with ****** people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”

              Pointless, really.

This thread is one of the most painful instances of self-ownage I've ever seen.

So what... isn't Pac just the smaller man hedging his bet against the much larger fighter? He was the money man in this fight, he doesn't owe Tony anything! If Tony didn't want it he didn't have to sign did he?

This is awesome! You're an MD now! So in your expert opinion both of Pac's CW were wrong and Mayweather who is doing the exact same thing is okay. Whatever happened to "I fight fighters at their most comfortable weight"

What happened to the "I fight fighters at their best weight"? The other guy signed the contract. Everyone here is a hypocrite. Those who defended Pac, and those who defend Floyd. But to be honest...who gives a **** what ANY of you armchairs think. You don't box or sign contracts so take your cry baby fanboyism and shove it up your *****!
